  1. Yep should work just fine. Wear eye protection! Even if you think "Ah I don't need it I'm just going to sand this little bit right here." A trip to the ER to get something removed from your eye is no fun.

:lol:I cannot emphasize this enough! I just spent a couple of hours down at A&E with a scratched eye ball from grinding a steel scope rail for someone here. I thought oh it's only a quick job I can't be bothered to dig my goggles out! How wrong I was.

Aluminium is alot softer to work with and lighter to troop with.

  2. Mark

Looks as though the blaster was plucked straight out of the film....., grat pics, will serve as super reference photos.....

BTW, what's the weight of this baby now?

p.s. Can I ask of 2 more shots, a top down and a bottom up...

    cheers

It weighs in at 3.9 kgs and I'll try and get some more shots done today......

I told you it would look stunning outside.

Try a more neutral colored background so it doesn't detrack from the

    blaster details.

    Thanks!

I'll take some more with a neutral background if I get some spare time.....

  3. Hi Guys,

I just thought I would post a few pictures of my Sterling E11 conversion.

    All parts are original.

    What do you think?

I am still on the fence about painting everything black or just leaving it as the well used look?

On with the pix...... :excl: MORE PIX ADDED TO POST ]#21 :excl:
