I've made a bit of progress! Aside from some painting the helmet is done. Forearms are together as well, and biceps are nearly there.

The first helmet pieces are together! It looks like it shifted ever so slightly while drying still, turned out pretty well

Helmet progress is moving forward nicely, i'll have more pics soon. I'm starting on the arms next, wanted to get the bodysuit soon as well. Any recommendations on where to get a high-quality bodysuit would be greatly appreciated. I've seen a bunch on eBay and Amazon, but not really sure which direction to go. Definitely want a high-quality one that will keep me cool (relatively) in the FL sun. Don't mind paying a bit more for a good one if it's worth it. Any ideas? Thanks!

I'm starting with the helmet this weekend, definitely taking it slow. Thankfully the helmet is a good size, even my massive noggin wont have any trouble fitting

Yep, I've already signed up for the FL501st. I have no doubt I'll be making many runs to the hardware store as I go, especially as this is my first build. So far my list of supplies is: Dremel w/ accessories E-6000 glue 20 rare earth magnets Straight and curved Lexan scissors various clamps Dritz Heavy Duty Snap fasteners w/extra snaps plus the normal assortment of tools you'll find in most garages If there is anything you know I'll need I'd definitely appreciate it

I just placed my order for a set of NE Armor from Trooper Gear! Eagerly awaiting its arrival, and I'm already almost totally stocked up on supplies.
