I’m in the hospital with a fractured ankle. Surgery for screws and plates. Putting things on hold for a while, can’t stand or walk much less work. Thanks for your patience
Hey Terry, prayers for a speedy recovery. I sent you a PM regarding getting in touch with you in re: to email and purchasing armor when you're up and ready to go.

Thank you Walter and Tony as well as everyone else with this armor.

Walter and his wife opened up their home to assist with my armor build a couple of years back. Walter and a few other members as well came to the house to assist with the build. I was floored to see how knoelwdgeable he is and how well he blended the shims together with the ABD plate. He is very patient and took his time perfecting what he does with great pride. Thank you much.

Here's the TD screws as requested.

Looking fantastic! Your armor is well assembled. You might want to add a photo of you TD screws (unless I missed it).
Thank you and no you didn't miss it. I have to include that and paint the inside of my Hovi Mics white.

Looking good Trooper.
Best of luck with your application.
Thank you!! We'll see what happens, right?

I have an E-11 from SDS, seen in my profile pic along with the armor I'm wearing too. Despite of all the differences I'm reading and have heard from the past from others and not to mention the cost, I love mine as well!!

Hello John!
LOL, what's up brutha man!!!.
-
This would be the best option as they can mix paint on the spot..
Yeah, I think that's what I'm gonna do then. It may cost me a pretty penny to do so, but hey, it's worth it for the piece of mind . Thanks guys. I'll upload pics later.

Take a piece of your armor to a professional paint shop and they can use a tool that has a laser that perfectly matches the color
I think that's what I'm gonna do as I heard this from another member from the FISD as well. Thx
-
you mean Mark (AP) no paint will match perfect, aren't your shims white abs?
Ahhhh, yes, Mark!! Duh, thx:)
-
I'm building an older AP kit and I had to shim my sides and need to match the paint to blend it all in. I contacted Mike at AP and he didn't know what paint to use. Anyone know?

What's funny about the Raiderette pic is the blonde to my immeditae left (I'm holding the pom pom) is that she didn't know who the 501st was. She never heard of us or ever seen a Star Wars movie. She ACTUALLY thought we were a "dance group" lol.....no joke

Santa trooper is there
I like the one with the golden gate bridge, it's pretty cool
Thanks for sharing.
That was a totally random pic, too. I was actually seriously pointing something out to the Sandtrooper, he then grabbed his binocs and the photographer took the opportunity
