Hi Jonah, welcome to the white side. 2 Vaders and now considering a TK, about time

Yup when I eventually go for an armoured character I want to make sure I know which one to dive into, always up for a bit of research when I can.

I've kind of got it narrowed down a TK, Biker or a clone of some kind (with a General Hux thrown in there if the price point isn't ridiculous).

 

But the TK's looking mighty tempting and would compliment a Vader nicely. Oh and don't get me started on RMQ stuff or you won't hear the end of me, especially with the RMQ Vader I'm building on the side. (Is it a bad time to mention the RMQ TK's look nice as well ) 

 

But any what can I say, a TK would look nice with a Vader any day of the week. I can't commit to anything yet since I've got to finish of the last few bits of Vader first and get some more funds, but I can say I've officially been bitten by the costume bug!

Sounds like a plan Sly. If all goes to plan I'm hoping to have Vader approved in time for trooping Dreamworld

You will definitely run into situations when you won't be able to attend an event if your only costume is a face character. Adding to your costume  arsenal when you can is always best!

Greetings everybody

My name is Jonah and I live in Queensland Australia. I am currently in the process of building a ROTJ Darth Vader and having now purchased all my parts (I'm just waiting on the helmet and Chest armour. Then it's pretty much tweaks and submit for approval). I scratch built my buckle, Chestbox and belt boxes so I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty and build stuff.

Anyway, now that I am nearing the end of that build (which is my first costume) I have realised that there may be times there is another member already as Vader at an event that I would like to troop at leaving my options limited. So I figured I might look into costumes that I can have as an alternative when such an occasion arises.

At this stage I've got my options wide open as to my choices so I'm starting up the research into other costumes again
I've not done a heap of research on TK's just yet but I'll certainly to have a look around and do some reading.
I'm not afraid to take on a challenge, especially after the gruelling 1 year marathon that Vader is (and is still going)!

I look forward to meeting and getting to know the members here
