  1. Hi Kai (Jek-14),

here some pics, I use 1" nylon webbing and 1" buckles for the strapping. I fix some snap button, to lock the pouche (blue) and the nylon webbing after pulling it to fix the backpack (red):

As you can see, I cut out the "deep bump"... so the back part of the armor hold the backpack in place

  2. Hi,

What I think about it? It looks similar like packs here in the forum. I find just the upper boxes too small and I don't like the polished radio buttons so much. The rest looks great....

Here a pic of my backpack... I like it when the boxes are mounted very compact:

  3. Sorry, but for me the Backpack on the top of the 501st CRLs are NOT the right one and the picture MUST be changed! The Backpack shown is a mix between HWT and TD Backpack...

The CRLs text says: Backpack is styled after and closely matches the backpack seen in the Battlefront series.

If you check the references pictures here: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/15272-high-detail-hwt-screens/, you will see that the Backpack shown in the bottom are the right one.

  4. Hi,

finally I got my Stormtrooper TK ID :peace:  ...... now I have time to build my HWT Backpack ;)

The base is like the other Backpacks.... a oil change pan:

Ufortunately the oil change pan has reinforcements at the bottom to protect it. I has to cut them out where the boxes are coming:

Boxes and the mortar tube are from Quartermaster. You can find them here: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/29865-fs-new-crl-hwt-pack-parts-kit/ . The rest I found it in stores or supermarkets:
