I'm in Gainesville. I've lived here since 2001
Blaster is looking good. Just ordered a doopy's a couple days ago. I am not to far away from you. I live in Dahlonega and my wife works in Gainesville. I get over that way with my side business on weekends.

Tim, What a fantastic E-11 build thread! You did a fantastic job and your blaster looks awesome. I staterd out yesterday just scoping out threads because it is time for me to get my blaster and I ended up enthralled with your build. I just now finished reading it and am looking forward to building mine. Thanks for taking the time to post all the photos and how you did things. Troopers helping Troopers.

She will surely outgrow it in a few years, especially at 12, she's probably going to grow fast for a few more years at least.
Build on enow, and resell it when the time comes. There is always people buying used suits here and you don't lose money either.
I don't know why that never crossed my mind. Makes perfect sense. Thanks.

Hi Matt- Glad the build thread was helpful to you. Not sure how old your daughter is? But, no matter what the age, you should get her involved in the build as much as possible. She will need to learn to care for her armor and do the inevitable emergency fixes on troops. Plus, what daughter doesn't want to learn how to use a Dremel with their Dad?
She's 12 so she has a bit more growing to do. We are worried if we build one for her she may grow out of it. She loves the idea of building it and is willing to help do it.

Diana, What a fantastic build thread. I have read through the entire thing over the last couple days. It has been a positive, informative and entertaining time. I am still in the research phase of finding out what armor I want to get but will be sure to reference your build when I do. My daughter want a set as well and your build will come in especially handy when we do hers. Thanks for the great read.

That looks awesome. Good job. I would consider one after I build my TK.

That might work well for her. I will keep an eye on your build and see how it goes.

Time to do some research between now and then.

I'd like to see how this works out. I am consider an AM kit.

Looks awesome. Great job.

I will check it out. Thanks.

Nice set up.

Welcome. I am in North GA as well. I am just a noob too.

How tall is she? I am looking for armor for my daughter who is 5'2". This might be a viable option for her.

Maybe a mod of the new Gis femtrooper armor might work. Possibly make it a bit bigger so she can grow some more and the armor still be wearable.

Welcome and hello from both GA as we'll. looks like the GA garrison is getting several new troops in the coming months.

Ok, so I have my answer. Thanks for the input. Any thoughts on the AM 2.0 vs AP? Both are in my price range. I can't bring myself to spend much more even though I could. I know that there have been issues with AM on higher rank approvals with the chest and back pieces. They changed the chest but not the back yet. And is the redesigned helmet better?

I can. I already have pricing from a few of the vetted sources. I guess the "I could have a full set right now" bug got a hold of me.
