  1. Cheers Tim, I noticed the shoulder straps in this shot sitting up like that. I have other shots that have it sitting better (I thinks it's just the way it's sitting in this pic), but I'll look into it... I'm wanting to put together a DLT 19 for centurion, but I don't know if I'll ever achieve it, as I don't think I can full fill the abs/ kidney plate 'gap' ctrl without shims, but in saying that I've tried to build to centurion controls just to make it as accurate as possible, so I'm happy.

  3. Looks rad Hans, I haven't looked into gun assembly though, I bought an E11 off a maker on Etsy a while ago, and i'm going to run with that for now. I noticed on your earlier thread that you're going with the hook system on the calves, I was going to but I'm having trouble with the size of my calves so I'm going to go with velcro...but I've got the white elastic and white hooks that you can have...I'll try and come to Rev's for dinner Thurs. night and  I'll bring a bag of bits and pieces that you might want / need.

  4. Hey mate, E6000 glue is what I used, it cures with a rubber like consistency, so it has a bit of give which is good for all the limb armour parts. It's also very forgiving if you need to redo something, even after it's set properly (comes apart and cleans up very easily). I got mine though ebay, there's a seller in Tassie, about $9 a tube. In saying that it reminded me of shoe goo as soon as I started using it.

The abs strip hooks for the biceps were used by Han only i believe, other stormtroopers didn't have any attachment. However if you want to connect the two (bicep and shoulder), this is the accepted way to do it. I don't have a heat gun, so I just put two abs strips in the oven at 150 degrees (celsius) for 4 mins, which softened the plastic enough to bend into a hook.

With the lens in the helmet, I have mine fixed via the screws from the helmet ears with an extra nut holding it in place.

  5. Hey mate, good to see you here, will def. doing everything to help you. It sounds like you're well on track. The armour party sounds like a great idea especially if we can get some more experienced troops there so you could maybe use zap a gap and zip kicker or something similar, that would really speed the process up as opposed to E6000. The other thought I had for youR party is that we could maybe do a temporary assemble with industrial velcro. Are you getting you're armour 'trimmed' from Mark?

It's jedi here by the way.
