[Accurate aerators assemble?]

1. I got a square mesh to the aerators and i have no idea how to best cut them to the right size and how to assemble them, should I use glue or will the stay in place by them self?

Normally, stay in place by them self with an accurate cut (yes, it's not really easy <_< )

 

2. Should i paint the inside white or leave it with the white/yellow resin color?

Which helmet do you want to do? Hero and sandtroopers helmets have full black mic tips (and mesh) except the nipple inside which are unpainted (pure white resin)

For other stormtroopers helmets, mic tips are black outside and blank inside!

Unfortunatly, I have to sell my Hero helmet.

 

It's a VT Hero kit made out of 0.060 white ABS, with correct ears (that I bought on ebay one year ago.)

I assembled it in order to make this helmet as close as possible to an original.

Hand painted with weathering effects on these details.

Dark green bubble lenses and pure white mic tips with nipples inside

Customised brow trim and "S" shaped neck trim.

I polished it in order to get a smooth and shiny finish.

I sell it for 310$, shipping to the USA and paypal fees include. (320$ for Asia AND 228€ for EU)

 

I know this price is expensive. But unfortunatly the ratio euros/dollars is not advantageous for the purchaser. And finally, shipping cost are expensive because I live in France.

I tried to make it as accurate as possible.

Here two pictures of a comparison between Webers rubber trim (on the right) and TM's rubber trim.

 

 

Webers is smaller. TM's trim isn't the most accurate (because not square as the original) but very close!!!!

Hello everybody.

 

Little update with my WIP TE HDPE.

 

I painted it with a kind of HDPE color (looks like beige on these pictures but it's more a kind of grey/beige)

 

I have to make some adjustments (cut the brow and neck trim)

I got the brow and neck trim and found good acetate sheet for the lens of my HDPE helmet.

I read that there were two type of ROTJ helmets. Some have ESB decals and ANH/ESB mic tips. Some other have differents mic tips and decals.

 

There were studios helmets and helmets for Endor forest scenes!

 

But I could make an error.
