There's so many Doopys build threads around, but this one? This build thread is brought to you by a complete and utter DIY no hoper. Seriously I could make a dogs backside of gluing two bricks together. I was going to buy one pre made. Kinda prevent me from making a really crap E-11 I thought. Then I spoke to a few people at a few troops. I gained a little confidence and thought maybe, just maybe I can do this. I visited a trooper and gained more confidence. I then decided to give it a go. I bought a Dremel, glue, paint, elastic bands, etc. Over the next few weeks I, err, created this. And I'm still shocked that I actually did it.

The excess has gone now. Someone suggested using a rubber. That's eraser for our American friends before anyone thinks I'm rubbing my blaster with a condom!

Does the excess come off really easily then? Nothing on the cloth? Damp cloth? I've just put it together after the paint dried tonight. Just doing the finishing touches.

Could someone talk me through or point me to a thread which talks you through whitening the letters on the Doopys scope with the white crayon please? By some miracle I've managed to construct a rather cool looking Doopys E-11 and would like to whiten my scope letters without making a dogs backside of it. Thanks in advance.
