Hey Everyone, I was wondering if there were any troopers planning on going to this Warrior Dash in Esparta. I know I will be there, and would love to run with a group of 501st's finest. Dress downed of course, some of these obsticles in armour would be darn near impossible.

Sorry if I am spamming the hell out of Trooper Fit club, but I have more progress: Boom baby!
-
I hit a healthy BMI today! First time I have been at a halthy BMI since high school! Also, I am starting a "Body Fit" class today -- which I am going to rename "Trooper Fit" in my mind.
-
Is that two minutes per exercise or one minute per exercise?
-
Thanks for the links! I now know I have to do 40 push-ups and 45 sit-ups in a minute. The good news is my new weight is in compliance, my old weight was not! PROGRESS! Maybe I will challenge my coworkers and figure out how many of each we can do today.

I am on US West's PVE server. I would be down to create a new PC to game on if folks want!

Are any troopers in a good guild? I miss this MMO something fierce and would like to play again.

You may want to concsider getting a Fuel Band. I don't know if you do Facebook or anything, but it's all integrated there, so you can broadcast success and it gives you a great "universal" score for non-resistance exercises so you can compete for activity. Also there is free Android and iOS apps that track your scores. There have been plenty of days where I have looked at my Fuel band, seen I was under my Fuel goal, so hit the gym. It's all about the stupid little motivators in life. Also I know what you mean about the watch strap sizes, here is my Fuel Band on me when I first got it: Here it is now: In fairness to Nike it comes with smaller links and I can change it, I am just super lazy. Also, I am sure we will be able to troop together, I travel down from Sactown to the bay all the time, either for gaming conventions or Warhammer tournaments. Traveling for a troop doesn't seem far fetched at all.

It was all Weight Watchers for me! I mention in my blog how it caters to my inner power-gamer. Racquetball was the source of my awesome power, sport really helped me bridge the gap between couch potato and guy-who-is-able-to-run-5k. Also you can totally see the weight loss in the face, and the Disneyland photo looks smashing!

200lbs reached! Ordering my armour tonight!
-
@Jwelch13 I got sent this diagram by RS Prop Masters, maybe it can help you track your body measurements?
-
After all the discussion, I went with ABS. I send in my measurements in a week, and will hopefully have my armour by Halloween. Thanks for all the help everyone!

Weight loss update! 5lbs down, now at 203 and 3lbs from sizing the armour out! Also, updated my blog: http://plastoidpursuit.blogspot.com/2013/08/try-not-do-or-do-not-lose-weight-how-to.html I had a friend literally ask me "So how are you losing all this weight and becoming a Stormtrooper?" Naturally I directed them here. Bold strategy JWelch! The progress will be slow but satisfying, I wish many new wardrobes upon you and good luck getting back on the Dewback!

If I got an ABS RS kit, then decided I liked TM shins better, could I mix their ABS shins with RS ABS armor? Would the colours look right? Is mixing armour like that taboo?
-
This looks super sharp Red! I guess if I did ever see some yellowing on the ABS I could either use some the bleaches I have seen, or dirty him up for a sandy. Would you rather have a ABS trooper because the gloss doesn't matter on a stormtrooper, or because of your worry about cracking? How often does armour crack, should that be a major concern of mine? Thanks for all the help.
