The boots on the Anovos are way to tall, should come to mid calf level.

Here are some pictures of the build.
The spare room was a complete mess and the wife was not happy with all the white dust and bits stuck in the carpet haha.
Getting the legs shimmed up
Making all the snaps. I had forgotten how much I hated this part
Putting snaps into the groin and butt plates
I cut out the 22mm x 22mm section from the kidney plate and marked and drilled the holes but was not happy with the placement so I redid the holes and was happy with the placement, need to get some more acetone to make up some more ABS paste to fix the holes.
Then I added the single snap to the right side
They were the last of the build photos I took as I was speeding through it to get it completed for the next morning. Will post up more pictures of the completed build this weekend.

Well I finished the whole thing at 5:00am Saturday morning in time for our Australia Day troop, still awaiting the ESB hand guards, new thermal detonator and working on a new holster & belt. Also have to fix up the belt for the thighs as it dropped during the march which made things quite uncomfortable and as seen in the pics the thighs look a little to low.
Here are some images of the finished product to date

Been working on the arms and legs today. I have made all the cover strips as follows:
Arms upper and lower - 15mm
Legs front - 20mm
Legs back - 25mm ( I still need to shave these down by 0.40mm to get them exactly on the 25mm mark)
I still have to take off the return edge from the wrist section of the forearms, any feedback / tips are appreciated.

As per your advice I have repainted the frown and taken out the black from between the teeth.
Also added the tube stripes, visor and started on the ears.
It looks like, and it may just be the pics, you painted the teeth and the space between them on the top and bottom. It should be just the teeth area. Again, it may be the pics though

Awesome thread dude, I am about to do the exact same thing on the new kit I got as the thighs as a bit too small for me, probably due to all the stairs I climbed while in Mexico .

Yeah I did actually as I was working off these reference pics. If I'm wrong please let me know as the lighting on the images is not the best and that's how it appeared to me. Any constructive criticism is welcome.

Picked up my SE-14R blaster from Border Force after waiting for my permit to be cleared
A bit of clean up on the kit needed, came with a real scope pretty good quality for $50 AUD.
After a bit of dremel work it's almost done, still needs a little filler here and there but that can wait.

Still have to paint the ear and tube stripe details, also going to hand paint the rest of the details when I get time for now the stickers are good enough.

Hey guys, while I was in Mexico I picked up a kit from a mate - Fan Made (Carlos) and and brought it back to Australia. As this is my second TK have decided to go with ESB for this one, the kit is awesome quality ABS.

@ Lichtbringer - thanks so much for taking the time to do that! That's very generous and extremely helpful.
@Seantrooper - I'll keep you posted and you keep me posted!
@davej - Tell me about it! I've been hunting this down for a few weeks now in an attempt to locate 38.1 outside diameter pipe and wow the measurement system is crazy. The best thing I've been able to do so far is carry my 38.1mm resin muzzle casting around with me and just physically try fitting it to whatever pipe is stock. So far no match though...
I have found a stockist of Aluminium round tube with an outside diameter of 38.1mm and wall thickness of 1.6mm. you can choose various lengths and wall thickness. here is the link for Ebay.
