  1. Thanks for all the advice, for now I will keep it sealed until I get home. Once I can see what is going on I will clean it up and follow all of your advices. Joeyyjoee
  2. My fellow troopers I need some help and tap into your stormtrooper wisdom. Sorry if I posted in the wrong section I'm a newbie My uncle recently found out I was planning to build a suit for myself and being the giving and nice guy that he is, he brought a suit for my birthday, and sent it to my house. Not a bad thing I guess... Since now I will have two, because I order one from a vetted armorer. Now keep in mind I'm deployed to Afghanistan... (so I'm quite anxious to get home and start my build) so I asked my wife to open the box, to take pictures, and it is a fiberglass armor suit, that has fiberglass dust all over it and from her description, it sounds like its not sealed. My question lies on how can all the fiberglass dust be cleaned out of the armor? I have young children and an infant in the house, and I do not want them exposed to fiberglass dust. My wife and her brother are willing to clean it, but they are unsure as to how, and are concerned that if the if they clean it will it just flake again. I know this is kind of of an amateur question, but the truth is I'm very new at this and I'm kind of of unsure what to tell them... and I don't know the first thing about fiberglass. For now, the armor is sealed in a bag residing in my garage. Thanks in advance joeyyjoee
