  1. Dear Heidi,

They look really great and looks excellent craftsmanship for wood. I will certainly revisit this once i get my E-11 issue resolved, which at present is first priority. I will likely pop back to the Uk in May for vacation and for shipping may be best to PM you closer to that time.

    Many thanks

Hi Amir - thanks, you´re welcome anytime, cheers

  2. Hi all

After my dad finished the minimag missile launcher, he couldn´t resist on going ahead with a new project, so what else could I make him do ??

Well it was a choice between the T-21 or the DLT-19... I gathered a hole bunch of pictures, templates and views of others builds for him, and he said, he would go for the DLT-19.

So here is the almost finished build - but it still needs the wires around the t-tracks.

My dad is a former heavy machinegunner (on foot) in the danish army and has a lot of knowledge around weapons - so he made some nice details with it.

Feel free to comment if something is off or in ;) - he´s eager to hear what you guys/girls think of it...

TK-7995 has been following and seen the photoes from the progress on mms. Unfortunated my camera has had a bit of a break-down, so I don´t have the other pictures, that I have been taking along the way

I hope you like it... here is the link : http://s1246.beta.photobucket.com/user/Heidi_L_Sorensen/story/3921

Next project my dad has to make, is my mums christmas gnomes made out of wood :D poor dad... LOL - but after that he´s going to make a TB-pistol out of wood... so lots of projects in progress...

  3. You only have a limited space to upload images and files to here. And you have exhausted that space with your PDF's which is why you can't upload anything more. If you upload your images to an external hosting site, like imageshack or photobucket you can then link you images back into the post from their site.

    Hi

    Oki - that´s why...

I´ll make sure to use photobucket next time, thanks ;)

  4. Hi

I can´t make it work to put the photos in here, but I made a link to where you can see the MiniMag finished

Hmm that doesn´t work either ... but in the forum under the topic : Imperal Troopers (tb,td,tk,tr,ts,tx), you can find the topic: MiniMag missile launcher build (author: Heavy)

  5. Hi everyone

Thought I´ll make a post with the build of my MiniMag, and how it´s coming along.

My dad is doing 99% of the wood work - and I must say, that he´s doing a great job. :duim:

Photo 1: the small start - and my dads sct.bernhard "Bamse" is keeping a close watch

Photo 2: some of the parts being crafted

Photo 3: the box coming along

Photo 4: more parts being made

Photo 5: more parts being crafted

Photo 6: everything being tryed on... but the box is to long, so it has to be cut shorter.

Still need to make the sight right, to put holls in the barrel and put the tube on etc.

    Please do comment :D

Big thanks to Dashrazor for his template and BigBadaBoom and Ketariniii for ideas from their builds. :peace:

  6. Hi, Heidi! Yay, more ladies joining the ranks of white! :)

I also troop with my son sometimes, when appropriate; he's only 6 so he's got little Anakin and and a jawa, though I'm looking forward to Walt's and other endeavors for kid's armor.

Though MEPD will be your official home, we're very friendly and helpful here and will be happy to see you through!

    Hi Ingrid

Yes this is much a mans world - but we can too ;)

Both my sons have a lot of costumes regarding Star Wars, and I pretty sure, that if there will be armor for kids, that my sons are all over it at that time. I have to look for it too...

Thanks a lot for the nice welcome and I´m sure, that I´m going to have a great help out of this forum and you nice people - that´s awesome.

    Best regards fra Denmark

  7. Hello, Heidi, and welcome to the detachment forums. :) I would say that a fair number of us also became interested in joining the 501st after seeing the group represented in parades. It's also fun when our families are involved.

So, you would like to be a sandtrooper (TD). Well, you will definitely find a lot of help here, as almost all of the armor is exactly the same as a regular stormtrooper (TK). There are a few differences, however. Another great resource for you to look at, if you haven't already found it, is the Mos Eisely Police Department detachment at http://www.mepd.net, which is the home of the sandtroopers. They will be able to give you all the help you might need to add the details for sandtrooper armor.

With the information you will find, as well as all the outstanding folks at both detachments, you will be well on your way to suiting up!

    Hi Terry

Thank you very much for the welcome ;)

Yes I´m already on the MEPD-net too, so I just need to get an armor and get building - though I do know, that it is going to be a big job, but I´m up for it and can´t wait.

Both my sons gets all dressed up for the parade in Legoland, the big one was Darth Maul with paint and all, the young one was Anakin - and they want to join too, but they have to wait a couple of years... They can come with me, when I, hopefully, get approved, when I´m finished with my armor sometime in the future.

I sure gets a lot of tips allready and I writing a lot down - but I know, that I will use this forum a lot, and I´m thankfull for all of you, who are willing to help out with a comment here and there.

    Greetings from DK

  8. Hi everybody

Just a little note to say hello and to introduce myself and family.

I´m a 38 year old female, who have allways loved the Star Wars Universe, and now with two sons age 5 and 9, who also feel the force.

For the past two years we have been at the Legoland Event Star Wars weekend - and boy do you guys/girls rock !

This year we even got Jake Lloyds autograph and that was really a big thing + my oldest got his picture taken with Darth Maul ! unfortunate I don´t know, who the real person was behind, but he made my sons day. And that is, what I want to do too - make other peoples/kids day by being part of someting as awesome as you all here.

Now I finally made up my mind, and I´m going to get my own armor. Hopefully the Troopermaster can find time for me some day :smiley-sw013:

I´m going for a sandtrooper - cause my oldest son loves Darth Vader and Darth Maul, but I´m not very high and I don´t wish to cut of my hair, so I´m going with my youngest hero : a sandtrooper :) Those are also the ones, that I find most exciting, no affence to all the other troopers B)

That was just a little bit about me - and hopefully I can be a part of the parade next year in Legoland.

I might ask a lot of questions, when I get my armor - perhaps even before ;) - so thanks in advance everybody.

    Best regards

    Heidi
