  1. Wow, thanks for the honest review. I actually received my set from Jim yesterday, minus the helmet. I let Jim know the body armored arrived and I am hoping that the helmet just took a slower path. I requested to join the FB group. I have an Anovos helmet, been playing with padding and electronics in it. I will use that one for the Cons and mash up's. This set I want to use for trooping. I like this material. There was only one flaw in my armor, a chip in the knee cap but that will be an easy fix. There is very little sanding I need to do with exterior, however the inside, well, I have a lot to do there. By the way, I do not suggest trying on the pieces as it comes out of the box in shorts and a t-shirt. I itch like crazy. Sand, wash, dry, and then try on.
  2. Wow, very informative. I received Jim's armor yesterday. I guess he forgot to tell me about the dropbox with instructions. Thanks for posting it. Now I know where to start. At the moment it looks like Jim's helmet is lost in shipping. Th body armor arrived and the tracking showed it but the tracking number of the helmet does not show up. I think it never got logged in and they took it there but we will see. I have a long way to go and I am on the waiting list for Imperial gaskets. Thanks for posting and recording your journey.
