Thank you. My fault selling my old armor for med bills in the first place. I guess I will try making other costumes from scraps and do a Deadpool. I can brace that as much as I was gonna do a TK. Wish I suddenly found a rich, dead uncle. lol Someone is looking at my blaster for a cheaper price, but if someone comes up with $200 tonight it is yours. Thanks everyone

OK well I give up. There is NO WAY I will ever save up the money for armor. So I am selling my Blaster. I have a sale thread on here for the finished DD's Resin Blaster. $200 Had the dream, stuff happened, sold the dream, got better, stuff happened now I am at the end. OK, now that I am starting to get used to the morphine and am able to stay awake, I am back to the build. Only problem, I seem to be missing 3 peices. The 2 cresent peices that go on the loaded and flash suppressor and the bayonette lug. Does anyone have any extra or a way I can make them? I also reciever 2 clusters of 3 high output LED's and am figuring out how to place them. I might have some MAJOR surgery going on here.

No it was sold to pay bills. I was a part of that bring back Firefly thing for a bit, but found out they were a scam.. That's right before I went to Colorado and had to go to the hospital.

Thanks Rob. Well there is no cure or real treatment for EDS so the people with my type, vascular with hyper mobility , just have to take pills and do some pool therapy. When I go out, I wear different braces depending what I'm doing and what hurts most. Lol. It never gets better and it continues to get worse, nothing my doctors and I can do about it. It's a genetic thing. Doctors say I have a few years left in me before I will need a scooter or anything like that. That is why I was so pushy and in a rush to sell things to get armor. Plus this laying around all the time is BORING. Wednesday when I go to my check up and mail some things, the doc might change up my meds again and hopefully we get the right mix cause this morphine is making me weird and zombiefied. Looking at TK armor before I started this, I saw some really good ways for different kinds of my braces to fit. I was wanting to make it like an Iron Man suit lol. But yeah, that's about it. I started as a TB, but support was not good. Had a bad thing go on in Colorado while visiting friends and my insurance wouldnt cover some things. The only thing I had of value at the time was my TB, so I had to sell it. Have gotten better in some ways, but the mental factor of going out and watching kids jaws drop when we walk in, priceless. I'm doped up so I'm rambling so I guess I'll leave it at that, unless you want to know more, I don't mind talking about it. Ok, see ya.

One week, 2 hospital visits. Upped pain meds, now instead of 8x10mg Vicodin a day, I take that PLUS 4x15mg of freaking Morphine. Been in such a haze, depressed cause I still have packages to mail. Been building my E-11 in bed, now that has to be a first. Looking good as well. Been reading all the tricks here and improving as much as I can. Kinda scary using the Dremmel on my meds though. To all I owe, it is coming, PROMISE. Please be patient with me, I really appreciate the patience. Repeating words so I will leave it there, be up and ready to sell that killer E-11. Why have a blaster with no armor right?

Scope lens and printed sights. Sanded down to a perfect fit, used some of that temp putty to place the paper sight and just sat the lens in. Much better looking will look great when painted

Oh, before sleep last night I put these two parts together I am a smoker, so to see the markings better, I dipped my hand in ash and just rubbed over the markings. I made sure to stay away and clean the glue spots No rubber bands, so I used hair ties and a clamp or two

I am putting together a DD resin kit and wanted to make the scope more realistic. I cane across this old, small, cheap toolkit I recieved as a Christmas gift or somewhere. Inside there was a small, clear, plastic magnifying "glass". I forgot to take a before pic, but I printed out the reticel and cut it out, put it in the scope end. Then I took the plastic magnifying glass, broke off the handle, trinned and sanded the edges to an almost correct size, I will trim more after the blaster is painted. Here is a rough look at what it looks like... I think with some better trimming and polishing it will look pretty good.

Found a cool thing for my scope. I had this old, cheap tool kit and it had this little plastic magnifying glass in it. I forgot to take a pic before I trimmed it, oops. I snapped off the handle and trimmed the sides to make it fit, then found the photo files for a blaster scope sight. I printed them to size and presto, a "glass looking" reticle Haven't put it together yet, gonna wait until after painting, but I just sized it up and it looked great.

Hey sorry myself, your right "Lost in Textation" lol I just figured if someone already had one that broke on them during an upgrade or mishap, I would try to salvage the guts. I am pretty good with electronics if I have the parts. And again, sorry for the misunderstanding.

Why do you keep riding my an impolite person? You have no idea what my life is like. Sure a month or so ago I had money, was even getting armor, but some shucks happened. Right now $20 is a lot for me. Try living on $600 a month Veterans Disability then come ride my an impolite person some more because I do not care. I would use more expletives but it's medication time.

Hey I am building a DD E-11 full kit and I want to do some mods on it. What I really want to try is to use the "guts" of a Hasbro for light or sound. I was wondering if any of you had a cracked or smashed Hasbro that still had working electronics. Can't afford a hasbro at all, let alone one to rip apart Any help here? Buler?

OK, after reading MANY build threads, I started late last night. First I did the grip, trigger/trigger guard and selector switch. I got to thinking last night, has anyone ever used that stuff you put on hand tools? You know, you either paint it on or dip the handles in it and it makes a rubberized surface. I was thinking about getting some that is pretty light and easy enough to "paint" it on so I don't loose the detail on the grip. I would only do this on the "handle" part of the grip not the whole thing. Anyone ever use that stuff? Then glued and clamped the "folding stock". I would really like an actual functioning one, but I will save that for the future. More later

This is my first blaster build. Since I will not be getting armor, and I ordered this before all my new medical shucks started, might as well have a kick an impolite person blaster right? This also should be fun as the doctors upped my pain medication from 8x 10mg Vicodin a day to 8x 10 mg Vicodin PLUS 4x 15mg MORPHINE!? So let's see how this goes... I got the Droopy's full Resin kit and it arrived today! All the parts along with Evilboys metal rail. Gonna work on just cleaning and reading tonight. More coming soon.
