Dateline: January 27 2014. With the addition, refinement, and completion of several TK CRL's this year, finishing with the recent addition of the Skytrooper CRL photos... The TK CRL's, found on the main 501st legion site, are now 100% complete ! Many thanks, from the entire LMO team, to all the troopers who answered the call to provide content throughout the year, and all of the encouraging words of support.

- Debate the subject with the LMO team and determine the eligibility of concept characters in the 501st. - Assemble, and present to the legion council, the the rules/ regulations that actually support their acceptance. - Grant their acceptance. - Formulate the rules surrounding the acceptance of future concepts. - Type and add announcement to website. - Create a CRL. - Photoshop individual costume compponent images. - Start large discussion with the DL's on the possible legion wide rippling effects of granting an "MQ" designation. - Collect what little info there is to start typing up the CRL itself. - Work with Celebrity Liaison to send photos to McQuarrie Estate. - Spend over two months working on subject. - Fix the word "black" so 2392 will not go on rant. In all lightheartedness... I did say the CRL was bare bones. I'll finish, and put online, the photoshop work I am doing right now (The upper header images) and erase the remnants left over in the CRL. But, in all honesty, I have a ton of other work to acomplish legion wide, so I will have to move on after I get a determination from the Legion Celebrity Liaison about the photos. When the time comes that there is a CRL typed and ready, and the images are ready to go online, I will be eagerly awaiting them. Gary and Paul, You are very much welcome.

I'm guessing everyone has found it now, but if not: http://www.501st.com/databank/Costuming:FISD_CRL #4 on the list. "Can you confirm if the "MQ" has become the deciding ID letters to use?" Right now it islisted under TK because that is currently the only possible place that it can be. Granting, or not granting, an MQ designation will have far reaching effects, beyond anything relating to Stormtroopers. Because of this, I am right now in the process of collecting thoughts on the subject, not only from the LMO team, but from all DL's.

On a side note: I would like to have the Legion Celebrity Liaison see about the possibility of contacting the McQuarrie estate, if only to show them some photos displaying the suits and explaining that, for the first time in history, the concept troopers are now a living reality. It is the first time... correct? Did LFL ever get beyond sculpting the concept helmet that we see in the behind the scenes photo?

I can confirm that 89Batman is the Legion's first approved Concept Trooper. And, there were two more in formation just behind him. I have created a "Stormtrooper: Concept Armor" CRL that is now online. It is very bare bones right now, so if there is a team already working on typing up the recomendations/ requirements, please contact me. Nice work to all around. I fully believe the acceptance of the concept characters, and now the physical reality of the troopers, is a monumenal moment for the 501st.
