I at the point of no return all of my armor has been pulled and is ready to ship to me but I am very hesitant to pull the trigger and pay. I was so confident in the beginning of my choice but seeing and talking more it doesn’t seem as active as I thought it would be. My local garrison seems to do their troops so few and far between and most of the events are during the spring/summer. What else does everybody else do with their armor besides putting it on occasionally for a con? Am I just missing something here? I am a huge Star Wars fan and the charity part of the 501st is the main reason I wanted to start but it seems like that is so few and far between. Please reassure me that my choice is going to be a good one. Sorry if this in the wrong section feel free to move it. Thanks in advance, Kendall

Hey everybody I am finally getting around to ordering my boots and want to get some TK's. The problem is I don't know what size I should get. I wear a size 11.5 to 12 depending on the shoe brand. I also have wide feet not super wide but wider feet would this change the size I order. I only ask because some threads I have read talk about how they got smaller sizes because the TK's run big. That is what I was going for. So are there stunt and hero for ESB just like ANH? And I do know that one of the guys on the thread here sells pre-made resin e-11 ESB's but if a ANH without those two parts would work that would be awesome!

The frown color is really what sold me on going ESB. The black just looks cooler to me for some reason. The blaster may be the hardest part to get. All I have seen is the ANH blaster from sellers would one of the resin kits be easy to change or are there kits just for esb?

So can sobody please help me with this? I really like the ESB helmet that RT-mod has better than the ANH, but it seems like everybody does the ANH. Besides the handplates, helmet, holster/holster position, and ab button color what would I need to change to make this happen? Would I need to do anything special with the armor? Probably easy questions to answer just wondering Thanks!

I was wondering about that. I was thinking that if I glued the fabric to the plastic how would I be able to take it off and move it if nessecary without ruining my armor. So necron your saying if I use the webbing like that it wouldn't be a big deal?

Got an e-mail from rob yesterday and sadly It would be very close to fit but I would probably not fit. But I have decided to go with an RT helmet but want to go ESB with it I am thinking. Thanks for all the input you guys are awesome!

Would gluing the snaps straight onto the armor cause heat and melt it like he did for the shoulders? Or would the e6000 not cause the heat? This whole snaps vs velcro stuff is very confusing and I am trying to figure out the way I want to go with my armor when I get it. Thanks, Kendall

I'm like 5'9 with a 38in waist and I have bigger arms and chest from lifting weights if that makes a difference. I originally set my mind on AM because a few other members on here are around the same size and problem.

I am also assuming the individual chest pieces would be hard to find wondering if I should just go with RT-mod full kit since there isn't a huge difference between that and AM, besides price that is. Speaking of which anybody know how much RT full kits are going for?

Wow thanks for all the advice guys! Since I am still starting out I am not even thinking about anything beyond EIB. If that is the farthest I want to go with this armor would I still be able to do that with the AM without doing the mods? Also I am glad to hear all the good reviews for both sides. Anybody have the contact info/ price for the two helmets?

Hey everybody I am in the process of ordering my AM armor but I am looking for a helmet to go with it and I am stuck between these two (ATA, RT). My funds are semi-limited so I would like the cheapest option. But I also have a big head about 7 3/8ths with a 18.5-to 19in neck. I am asking because I thought I read on here, but couldn't find, a thread with the guy having the same problem. I want to have something to do while I wait for the armor. Also would either of these or the AM armor limit me from doing a ANH stunt? Thanks in advance, Kendall

Hey everybody I just joined and have been doing a lot of research on the forums, looking at threads, ect.. and think that I am going to go with some AM armor, but wanted to get peoples opinions first. I am 5'9 to 5'10 weigh 245 pounds (and losing!) with a waist around 40 to 38 inches. My chest is also very large since I played college football. So I was wondering if this would be my best bet. I also like the fact that this kit is easy to trim and right out of the box set up to wear with minimal experience required (I think). Is there a site for AM kits or do they just have e-mail contacts? I am also going to talk to some of the local garrison people and see what they think as well.
