This brings back memories!
If you offered this as a kit sometime in the future, you could consider me a buyer.
Hey Solids cool man I'm going to be vac forming everything so e I'd bhappy to sort out a kit for you. Yeah I thought it was one of the more successful stormtrooper variants out there. I think the captured a good look; still stormtroopery enough to look like a stormtrooper but something new. Ok mate be in touch when I've got a prototype out
Cheers

Hey all I am working on a phase 0 darktrooper suit from Battlefront 1 and 2. I really like this design been wanting to make one for ages. I've got a build thread on the rpf that I will be updating regularly. Anyone interested please have a look here:

Hey there thanks! No it's based off the Jes statute and to a smaller degree the action figure. But it's basically my take on what female stormtrooper armour might look like in the OT era. There are a few kits out there now but I don't think it'll ever get approval cheers!Hi there!
I am brand new here. I was looking at the 501st Approved Costume Reference Library and there is a Legacy Era Female on there, is this the same one? There was a much earlier comment about how this would never get approved. Did it? It's really amazing. Like blowing my mind, amazing. [/size]

gah sorry missed this post. Yup it's tamsyn who's making the bucketIs it Tamsyn?

I like it
Thanks Neoakaj I think it's still Tk enough to look like a stormtrooper. My mates making a black one soon so we'll see how it looks complete

Helmet! Here's a first go at the helmet. There's no real template to follow here other than "make it look like a tk" So I'm pretty happy with the results. This one was a bit franken-bucket at the back but I have fixed that. Also I think the face plate could be a bit lower and flatter to the bucket.
I really like the scoops they do what I wanted them to: help keep the side tubes big enough and provide a more pinched look to the face. The hardest part I found now is getting a decent picture of what I'm looking at!
C and C welcome as always

Not going to lie, I joined this forum for the sole purpose of following this thread. Please please let us know if you begin selling these. I am super interested!
Hey MJ PM on it's way

The armor definitely looks good. I like how it appears functional and doesn't go for the tired trope of trying to over-sexualize female armor.
The only thing I see an issue with, from a functionality standpoint, is the boots, which are just asking for a twisted ankle if you ever had to engage Rebel scum in a firefight.
yeah it's a tricky one. The boots add a lot of height which helps elongate the figure but yeah if you were running around shooting at rebels you'd probably want something flatter!

She sure did the armour seems to be fitting a few different body types so far woot! The armor looks cool. Tam did a great job on her shadow trooper.

thanks very much everyone for the replies. The t track pieces are surprisingly short, about 150mm on one side of the strap ring and 200mm (ish) on the other. I'll follow up any and all leads and post pics as I go cheers!

hi all apologies if this has been covered before. I have search the forum I promise
Can anyone please tell me the best t track for a dlt? Is it the same as the e11?
Cheers and thanks

Looking food!
I really like this design! Most of the classic TK details there, just stylized to be more feminine!
Cheers dday! It sits really well on her I reckon, looks pretty natural. I'm about halfway through the helmet form I will EVENTUALLY finish this

So happy to see the female geekdom explode. So much more cool stuff for women now! My wife can not only be involved, but WANTS to be involved. So much fun for the future.
Yeah that's cool. My wife is not big SW fan or costumer but really enjoyed wearing the prototype suit I made, it was a lot of fun

Well hellooooo ladies!
Armor looks good! I'd love to run into these troopers at a Con!
ha ha thanks Raintrooper. I'm hoping to have a couple of troopers wearing these at our next convention. Hopefully there'll be lots of salutes
Thanks for sharing! Always cool to see what people are doing and obviously the ladies :-)
Cheers Slangen I was really happy the way the armour fit everyone, especially given that it's all rough trimmed. More pics soonish!

Hey Locitus yeah it's been a fun project so far! I'm not to worried about approval with this suit the main thing I AM worried about is tackling the helmet I think it will a bit of a challenge to get a suitably proportioned tk looking helmet
-
oh yeah I forgot to mention that everyone is wearing the same rough trimmed suit. I basically used ALOT of duct tape and overlapping to make everything fit. Obviously a finished suit would be trimmed and cover strips used
