No, the vertical ones (rank stripe) ^^
But I don't understand the remark about the "round ear bumps" too.

Belt and TD clips must be changed.
I have also a SDS, good quality but some modifications must be done to be perfect ^^

I have recently bought a SDS helmet, but it was yellowed a lot by the sun...
I have disassembled it to try to make a more screen used paint scheme with hand painted details on a gloss spray painted surface.
Before the white gloss spray paint, I have painted with a green/khaki color to be near the HDPE appearance, the more closer color I have found was "green olivier".
No so bad, but it was just an under couch, if the color not matched at 100% it was not a big problem ^^
Rebuilt with the unpainted abs white ears.
After some troubles with the white paint (not very glossy after my first coats), this is the final result.
The next step was the painting of the details, it was not so easy !!
After selecting the good colors (thanks to the people who helped me), I have firstly painted the black parts and the teeth.
And this is the final result ! ^^
I'm happy to have made this unusual "Mr no stripes"!
Think different, think no stripes ! ^^

I have stirred the Humbrol paint thoroughly during a long time, and the result is finally better !
Thanks for all your advices I will try to take some pictures tomorrow ^^

Well, I coming back with my paint problem ^^
I have firstly tested the "Testors 1138 grey" on the teeth of my helmet (following the advise of a friend).
This color is not bad, very close to the color used on the Master Replica, but I think too much dark...
On the left, the Master Replica, on the right my helmet
I have a VT Hero where the grey seems to be good (it match perfectly with the stickers sheet "Dave M"), and the VT is more clear than the MR helmet.
VT on the left, my helmet on the right
Yesterday, I have repainted the "Testors 1132 grey" with the Humbrol Dark Admiral, and the Humbrol is very more clear than the Testors (no pictures yet)...
I have the feeling that the good grey color is somewhere between the Testor and the Humbrol...
The grey used on VT hero looks to be very close to the good color, but I have no idea of the paint used.
For now, I really don't know what I must do, be too clear with the Humbrol or be too dark with the Testors v___v)°

Sell it, and with the money earned, buy another armor from a good workshop seems to be the best way...

After some troubles, my first picture of the white coating
The paints needed are ordered, the next in few days ^^
Finally, I think I will make a "Mr no stripes" !
I have found this picture, don't you have the feeling that the ears screws are mounting reversed the screw rods on the outside o__0)

About paints, for the blue stripes I have read here that Humbrol Midnight Blue or the blue Humbrol Mediterranean Blue can be used
http://www.tonybarne...com/anhref.html
What is the good color for a ANH helmet please, French Blue (maybe more for buttons), Midnight Blue or Mediterranean Blue ?
The color may change for a "Hero" and a "Stunt" ?
Thanks !

My SDS with yellowed parts
"HDPE like" painting
White is now in process ^^
Please, I need to have all the Humbrol colors references needed to paint the various parts of the armor (grey, blue.. More?).
Thanks !

Please, what are the good color I must use for grey parts ?
Somewhere I read "Humbrol Ad Grey" or "5 DARK ADMIRAL GREY"...
Thanks !

I have recently bought a set which includes a SDS Stunt helmet.
Unfortunately, the helmet is incredibly yellowed on a side face...
Is it possible to restore the original color by any magical substance ?
If not, I think I will paint it, as the original ANH stunts...
Some other questions later ^^
