It may be just me but I find the look of their helmet to be innaccurate? The eyes seem wrong or something, I can't put my finger on it?

Have you worked with that two part 10LB rigid Polyurethane foam? Brush some on the areas that are thin to give it some sturdiness? I'n not how it will work in the helmet, test it on something else firs

Glenos the Great said:Hey up chaps! Is there anybody here who's had to thicken up a thin lid from the inside? I have a quite a nice new lid but it's very thin in places, ie the under cut and areator areas.
Is there any product out there that I could sprayin or apply and let it set hard to make this a bit stonger?
Thanks in advance!

Gents:While I am certainly NOT a spokesman for Matt, I do have this info.
After receiving a few PM's from folks regarding my procurement of one his abs helmets--and wondering if I experienced the same communication vacuum--I finally got thru to Matt on his cell to share people's sentiments. He asked me to post this.
He claims he is very aware of everyone's concern and wants everyone to know that he has simply been swamped lately (he ran down the litany of things and it does indeed sound like his life sucks right about now). HPDE orders on backup, helmets getting lost on the way to England and Colorado, custody battles, terrible weather, etc etc.
Again, I hung up with him about six minutes ago...3:10PM EST. He asked me to post this and let everyone know he's sorry about the failure to communicate.
Beyond that, I have no other info, and no other advice other than to do what I did, which was to be realllllly patient.
I wish I could be of more help.

Best helmet in the show Scott, did you spray paint it white?.
-
Oh well, your helmet looks great all the same.
I think that ear has just been slightly over trimmed when the helmet was put together. I dont let it bother me -
Everything about Star Wars seems to happen in OZ now. McCallum must like the weather?

Scott, is that his .60 gage ABS helmet you are showing?
J
a little Novus #2 and car wax...can you say "shiny?" The camera can't quite capture the gloss level as much as I'd like, but compare it to the first post...
I'm personally a wee bit sensitive to the gloss and white color only because I'll be using it with my existing armor.
<===Kinda looks like that helmet, eh?
Also got my fans in there, hard hat liner, frown mesh, hard lenses and other tweaks. It's troop-worthy =)

You did a super job putting that helmet togeather! The only question I have concerns the left ear piece. It looks thin and has a big gap between the helmet and ear? Did you ask Matt if that was normal?

I heard his vac table was broke and he has stopped taking orders for now?

Awesome helmet, PM sent Matt. Do you have one with the plain grey paint on the vents and blue Sandtrooper tube stripes? I would like to be added to this list for one please!
