I can't get any closer without head butting lol.

Oh I've thought of it but haven't the slightest idea of where to start looking or how to create my own. I currently use 2 squirrel fans from tk-4261.

Old thread. I hope no one minds I resurrect. I am looking for any additional ideas and advice for being able to hear with bucket on. I have such a hard time hearing with fans running in my helmet during troops and it's very annoying.

I love this, I can't wait to see the episode!!!

Weird question of the day. Did you ever have to drive somewhere in your armor? Is it even possible? I would love to see a picture of a Stormtrooper helmet and all driving a car just once, haha.

Heya Chris and welcome! I am in San Jose and also a newbie working on my first Stormtrooper costume for Halloween (and 501st approval). Welcome and good luck, I hope to meet someday since we're only ~ 30 minutes away.

What are these used for?

I'm 5'7". I'll probably get this line thrown at me, im sure some of you have before, what's your favorite comeback?

Welcome!
Femtroopers are great sexy appeal but I can't deny the respect I have for the women in original trilogy stormtrooper armor especially after reading this month's newsletter.

Thanks for the advice guys! It's funny how even this little task requires certain know-how to get it right.

What paint do you recommend for the thermal detonator. I've seen instructions for a dark gray. Is there a particular color number or brand I should look for? Thanks in advance.

Since I'm still new, I feel I may have missed out on some great runs of shirts and whatnot. Anything currently available or upcoming?

What a great step by step

...in any of the movies? I feel like I learned most Star Wars names by way of my Action Figures growing up.

Has anyone had experience with these or this vendor, any good? I'm trying to put my first TK together in a short period of time, cutting costs on some of the items like this, I was thinking might help. I can always go all out for a super quality one later. What neckseals do you recommend by the way?

Sorry for such an obvious newb question... but Is this the blaster I'm looking for? It's hard for me to see through all the horrid colors and I wanted to make sure this isn't some new mold that I should stay away from:----------
I intend on blackening and adding doopydoos or some other kit (if/where available) on there.
Thanks!

Wow, this is the first time I've been able to clearly see how big the FX helmet is... thanks!

Nice! Much better for when I'm at work... errr on my break.... not... at work

Cool, just looked it up, seems those are a little on the pricey and older side, but it's amazing that you can dress err, assemble them.
Any other collectors here?

Hey guys,
What, in your opinion is the most accurate stormtrooper action figure(s) available? I am putting together my first TK very soon and I'd like to have, if possible, some good influence around me at work and at home. Probably a strange question, I know.... I'm curious about anything from 3-3/4" to 12" or otherwise.
P.S. I inherited my older brothers toys growing up and then eventually grew out of them but then was a completist from 1996 to 2003-ish and then grew out of that. Still wishing I had them all, but I don't miss the cost and space required for the collection, plus all those hours toy-hunting. I'm getting better at finding balance in not being a 100% all or nothing guy, so I think I can bare having some star wars figures around and not going nuts and REQUIRING all of them! haha.

Heya, I am located in san jose California (about an hour south of san Francisco). The more research I do and the more people I talk to, the more into costuming I get and my hopes and inticipation for becoming 501st approved and getting into the charitable spirit of things excites me. My wife is getting into it as well. We are both looking to have something together in time for Halloween and hoping to get to know some local garrison folks soon!

I can't confirm that this is 100% accurate until I receive it but I just ordered via (800) 362-4533 an "Star Wars imperial blaster" Part# 400009120806 $24.95 + $9.99 shipping in the US. After about a week I can confirm if it's the correct and new blaster or not.
