I just mixed the edges and have some, I definately think its each to their own when deciding on edges and I think my armour looks and feels great with how I have done it so far, 2mm is a comparitively heavyweight armour and looks considerable regardless of where the edges are, but that is just my humble opinion. I dont think my decisions have detracted from the awesome quality of TM's armour and as I said I have absolutely no second thoughts on where I have and have not cut It is a damn fine armour, and I look sexy in it To cut or not to cut that is the question, fortunately it comes with a multiple choice answer.

As I was not going for screen accurate strapping alot of the edges were not needed and also gives a nice fit with alot of movement and no nips yet, and as a first build it was a learning curve but I still think it looks great and am really happy with it. As its the 2mm it has a really nice weight to it and fits real nice

I am a little short to be a Stormtrooper lol 5ft 5 or 6inches

Yes using E6000

The using TrooperMasters great strapping guide I have started fixing snap plates to the Kidney, I will then test fit using tape to ensure remaining plates allow the armour to sit right before gluing And glued one on the butt cod

Some updates Had issues with front thigh cover strips but after a couple of go's at it (Thanks god E6000 is so forgiving) they are not looking too bad now Also got the shoulder joins on

I will order them then, thanks for your help (wife is annoyed on the waste of money on my previous magnets lol see I should have asked first)

I want some decent ones to hold down cover strips whilst gluing, I bought some the other day but they are pants, so was needing advice ont he right ones to get that will actually hold stuff tight

I am no good with technical mumbo jumbo I have found what appears to be a good deal for 100 rare earth magnets but cant work out if they are going to be any good from the technical info the seller has written. Can any science experts help me out and advise to buy or not to buy. MANY THANKS Item link : -

Quick update of some completed parts Currently gluing thighs, then working on shins. Thigh fit seems ok but I think I will have to trim the shins slightly, will refit when thighs are done to recheck everything.

First complete part yay Right Forearm modelled on a skinny pipe built mannequin Second forearm unglued, corrected and reglued and clamped. 2 biceps fitted, tested, trimmed and glued, ready in 24hrs

Your build looks to be going great, I took inspiration from your build when I started my own recently. You say that there were or are some things that bug you but it is your first build, and it is the same with mine and anyway the screen suits were not perfect and it is the little imperfections that make a suit your own, Im sure Im going to not get seams perfect etc but thats what cover strips are for lol anyway as long as I have done as best job as I can and the suit looks great I will be happy. Awesome job!!

First clamping and glueing today Right Forearm cover strips 15mm Slight squidge out of E6000 but easily fixed once dry and a lesson for me.

All trimmed out, celebration time lol

First Trimming complete :dt: Final pieces today were a leg and all thighs So now onto the test fitting and trimming stages
