Hey all. I just received my long awaited package of fully assembled RS propmasters armor (wOoT!) and since this is my first suit that is "correctly "strapped, I've got some questions. Up until now, I've had armor for years that I've built myself and strapped myself, and have no problems putting it on and taking it off with ease. But now that I've got a "correctly" strapped suit of armor, I have some questions as to the best order to put the darn stuff on! For example, do you guys like to have the arm assemblies snapped in place before putting on the clamshell body? I'm assuming that it's:
bodysuit, shoes, shins, neck seal, thighs, clamshell body, etc. etc. but I've run into difficult spots (eg snapping the darn crotch is a pain after everything else is on ) where it might be easier to do it in a different order. Any and all help is appreciated! Doesn't necessarily have to be RS armor… Could be any similarly strapped assembly. Thanks in advance.

Cool thanks guys. The Aker mic functions great, it's just a beeyotch to get my bucket over it lol
-
Nice...I like it!
-
Sweet! Very cool
-
Interesting...looks like it requires a full headset though?
I'm thinking the small, wire ear loop design might work well (getting the bucket on over it is the tricky part!) just not sure which type...

Wondering if anyone can recommend a good mini mic for use with an aker set?
I love the Aker, but would like to explore a more compact mic.
I've seen everything from this:
To this:
I don't need the VERY best, just a balance between size, comfort and performance?
Any input is greatly appreciated!

Nice set, fits you well! I very much enjoyed my sds suit...retired it when I started trooping in a diff set. Can't get it here in the states anymore!
Notice that it is slightly less shiny than my gloss abs sds set...is he pulling in PVC or a diff grade of abs these days?

Looks fantastic!

Looking good!

Awesome build pics!

Are those Alpha Bits you're eating in that first pic?

Fantastic looking armor. Build looks great so far! But it's not a build until you cut your finger

Score! The boys got back to me and have graciously agreed to send me a chest and bells.
**doing a dance**
Can't wait.

I must say these RS gentlemen are busy. 3 emails so far with no reply.
Hoping I can score a chest piece at a minimum, or a chest and arms if possible. Been dying or an accurate chest piece for years!!
Crossing my fingers...

That armor is beautiful! Fantastic job on the build!

Received my replacement hyperfirm e11 today from Lewis...better, lighter, sharper.

I hope the guy who stole mine is allergic to rubber.

I'll be there!

Thx guys. Well, I'm trying hard to look at this in a positive way (albeit an expensive lesson in carelessness). I did order a replacement with Lewis, and it sounds like an improvement over my last hyperfirm (purchased in 07). The t-tracks these days are molded right into the gun for one thing, and those suckers had started to pull away on me a few times.
In other news Tigers security is combing over CCTV footage...maybe I'll get a grainy BW photo of the drunk punk who stole it...that phot would make a nice fathers day gift.
Rip- that's awesome that tht chick got caught!! What tools these ppl are

Thx for the offer to borrow ur blaster...lol very kind of you. I think I'll be ok as Im not slated to troop for a while, so I think I'll be able to score a replacement in time. Greets from Canton!
Help: what's the best/correct order to put on RS armor?
