  1. Is this pack HWT EIB clearable? About how much does it weigh? What would I need to build straps and how would they attach to the pack?

Any photos of you wearing the pack? Also, I'm not familiar with standard vs marmit style. Pics?

I'd would imagine it should qualify, as it has passed 501st standards.

However I'm not honestly sure. I guess you could check with Daetrin...

    It weighs less than 5lbs.

Straps can be made out of Nylon webing, four snaps, and two hook clasps.

The webbing wraps around the top of the frame and snaps together.

The bottom webbing wraps through the hook clasps and snaps together.

The clasp connect to the D-rings at each corner of the frame base.

You can subsitute the snaps by stiching the webbing together.

  2. PACK SOLD

After the interest I got from my original post http://forum.whitearmor.net/index.php?showtopic=8264

I've decided to put this up for sale.

Everything but the boyscout frame and the tupperware lid are

    made from scratch items!

I made it with tooping in mind so it is either bolted or rivited together,

She's solid but not to heavy!

    It's not "screen accurate"

but I tried to include details from all five backpacks seen in (ANH) including the SE version

and the packs used by the Heavy Weapons Troopers from the video games.

It can be worn in both "Standard" or "Marmit" style.

I removed the straps so I could reuse them on my next pack build.

    Pack comes with No straps.

So $125.00 shipped! within U.S. only.

    PM me for Paypal info.

    Thanks for looking!

  3. Thanks for all the comments I really appreciate the support!

"Do you have any build pictures"

Sorry Luke I don't ...I have a tendency to jump into my builds

and forget to document the journey.

    "do you take orders?"

No , but I might be willing to part with this pack,

I'm currently working on a more accurate "ANH TD"kit.

    "two boxes instead of one"

Yes I agree, and the pack I'm currently making will have the two seperate boxes.

At the time I was thinking of how to build a pack that generally reflected all of

the packs. The SE ones apear to be a single box type build and even some

game shots show a single box base.

Plus it can be used for extra storage! ;)

Thanks again for all the pat's on the back!

    :D

BTW I hope the new owner likes it!

  4. Ok so everything but the boyscout frame and the tupperware lid are

    made from scratch items!

I made it with tooping in mind so it is either bolted or rivited together,

She's solid but not to heavy!

Allthough not "screen accurate" I did try to include details from all five backpacks seen in (ANH) including the SE version.

It can be worn in both a "Standard" or "Marmit" style.

This one is nice and clean could be used for a HWT no Sand here ;)

    BTW,

I no longer own this pack.

  5. OK, so I've decided to convert my Cushmann DLT-19 vac formed "barrel shroud/T track combo"

to a two part "inner barrel/barrel shroud'' with real T tracks.

My question is what's the diameter of a real MG-34's barrel shroud, the part with all the holes in it ;)

I was under the impression it was 1 1/4 inches or possibly 1 1/2 inches but both seem too big?

    Help Please!
