Yup, that has parts off an old Marco kit..
I have a friend who just bought a whole Marco kit, one of the 1st fan made kits out there.
thats why he bought it.
but he didn't pay any where near that stupid price.

Like everyone else, its how the buck was created... hand made and not symmetrical.
thats why the Vader ROTS helmet looks awful, it was created on a 3d printer.

Hey guys thought I'd update with a new pic... although I do have a few more pieces done I'll just post this for now.

You can never go wrong IF you want to recreate a accurate crappy paint like the originals, paint runs are subjective.
You have to remember WE as prop/costume builders make our stuff 10x better than the originals ever were.
so have fun and you'll never go wrong.
Now if you were trying to do a Boba Fett ESB helmet THEN, accuracy is a must!

I just wanted to welcome my buddy Darrell to the forum..
He has yet to chime in cause he's new to this.
But I can tell you he picked up a TE2 for next to nothing.

Thx Brian for clearing a lot of misconceptions.
Has anyone considered creating an opposing facebook page pointing out REAL facts that discounts AA claims, in a professional manner.
just a thought.

TV, yes your right.. Just a bit worked up, AA bothers me.
I too got in this for fun.
Maybe nuthuggers is to harsh. Blind followers is more PC.

I totally hate all the AA nut huggers on that page... the believe all the BS he dishes.
get this he also posted a top on how to do the black lines (using black pinstripe type tape) on the ears.. and they are thanking him like he created that tip.

Very cool to hear that this suit will be cast. It's not my style, but I imagine that many troopers the world over will be drooling when this thing is ready to go.

Not sure if there is a post already, but has anyone heard of the Helmet & armor found in the UK.
is it suppose to be on the down low.
Or can it be discussed?
I know there is a post on the RPF, and the pics are not to be passed around.
Anyways how will this impact sellers of ROTJ derived armor.
Also will the helmet be "the" helmet of choice.
The Armor IMO is the best part offered.
*mods edit as you see fit, if I brought up stuff I can't
discuss.
