  1. I bought a AM armor from a guy off here who was a little heavier than me but much taller. So I started trimming the Thigh pieces and now they don't overlap in the back, I trimmed too much off the back before trimming the top to fit lengthwise. what do I do? I dont think i have enough for even extensions. right now the ends butt up to each other. Is there someplace I can just buy new thigh pieces?

  2. Like Karins above "Stay away from those helmets!"

and if you don't want the mod you Efx lid, then my I suggest you getting any one of these:

If you don't want the any minor flaws with the "B" grades the they are selling at a good price....Then check with the vendors to see if they have any "A" grades in-stock.

In my opinion, I think you would be happier and have more fun building your own helmet rather than buying something off of Ebay, or moding your EFX. Anyone of the kits that I posted links above for, will look more screen accurate than trying to mod your EFX. The EFX is a nice lid, but it is symmetrical (left side perfect to the right side) . They idealized it, and to me, I would want one that is closer to the original screen used lids which were asymmetrical.

thank you , I pm'd scotty, those are nice looking and would be fun to build one.

    This just my 2 cents.

  3. Hello all,

I am getting armor soon, AM version and an eFX helmet which I know I will have to mod. My question is I am sure they will be different shades of white. Does that matter? Do I have to get everything painted the same "shade". I was thinking of taking to a body shop and have them do a once over on all of it so it matches is that necessary?

  4. Hello everybody! I am sooooo excited to be here. I do not have a set yet as I am looking. I have sent out a few emails to some people and are awaiting replies.

My question is I want to go ANH but I am 5'9", 220 lbs. Will that type work for me or is there a better type out there?

I can't wait to get going on this project.
