  1. hi jawa001 Thats a pretty good question Im really new to all this really so Im not sure what the differences are and what to look for when buying a MR. I have been looking on eBay, and it seems that the CE is easier to get hold of, I would like a nice helmet but I only have about £100 max budget. Im not really sure what sort of helmet I can get on this budget really. Also the reason I was thinking of a MR was because they are probably more obtainable and as I don't know much about building or where to buy other helmets I figured this would be a good start. The only other option is rt-mod but I know nothing about them. Any suggestions? Thanks Craig
  2. Wow thanks guys for your help, and advise. What would be the best way to fill in the seam on the master replicas? I have seen a video on YouTube of one, and they show a huge seam just infront of the frown. I guess If I purchased a MR i would probaly have to sort the seam out as it would bug me. Cheers guys Craig
  3. Hi all, Im looking into getting a new lid, but Im new to all this prob building. And Im not really comfertable on spending a lot on a lid and then attempting to build it. I see the master replicas already come built, but are they any good and will it match my fx armor? Perhaps I would be better off holding out untill my prop skills are alot better? Thanks guys craig
  4. Thanks guys, i am going to build a PVC pipe kit either using the doopydoos kit or possibly use the online tutorial on www.darksidesithlord.com. Ill prob wait to get a blaster core later on, cause i know a few people who are really good with electronics so they should be able to help. cheers guys. Craig
  5. Hi All, I am going to build an E11 Blaster soon, but i am unsure if i should do a Hasbro Blaster with a Doopydoos kit added, or maybe just do a Doopydoos PVC Pipe kit. I would like to create an E11 blaster with blaster core but it starts to get a bit pricey, so is it possible to make a few modifications to the Hasbro's lighting etc? or is there a cheaper alternative to the blaster core? If anyone has any suggestions please let me know. Thanks Craig
  6. Thanks guys for the Info. I'll leave the chrome trim out (not a fan of it anyways). I think i will watch ANH and have a look at some troopers for references. Thanks again guys, Cheers Craig
  7. Hi All, I am currently creating a O2/Thermal Detonator Canister, i have the parts on order (main Button Facia cost me £2 Bargain!) and i was wondering what is more accurate, painting the tube Grey and adding Chrome Trim on the edges? or just leaving the tube grey with no chrome trim? i will also need to get some clips to attach it to the belt. I have seen so many different version with and without the chrome trim, so i am unsure what is accurate or does this matter? Thanks Craig
