  1. I want to apologize to those peeps who had to deal with shipping troubles a few months back. Life has been busy for me. Trying to finish up my first year of college (after being out of school for 11 years) was time consuming. Then after 13 years of working for our family business, we had to close down because of less and less work coming our way. So now I'm looking for a job in this struggling economy of ours. I didn't have the time to check on here and view any of my messages, so just wanted to let ya'll know that I will be checking in from time to time if anyone is still interested in some mesh. I haven't been getting emails notifying me of new PM's so please use the email feature if at all possible. Thank you.

  2. The finer mesh doesn't really look as good as the bigger rubber version like what I have because it doesn't show as well. I have enough to last for at least a year. Also, please PM me for a faster response because I get busy and don't have time to check the message board. The PM's go straight to my email so I can get back to you faster. Thanks.

  3. Thanks Andy.....although it wasn't really free was it ;). I also wanted to let everyone know that 1 sheet can do roughly 2-3 helmets. Since a lot of people are wondering how much they will need. 1 sheet will do most of you with 1 helmet just fine.

  4. Please PM your location when you message me, so I can give you a complete price. Also, please let me know if you do or do not have a Paypal account. Thank you.

Also, I'm ordering some more soon. I found a few more sheets I had out in the garage when I was cleaning up. So I have about 4-6 more sheets for sale before I'm out. Order quick, before they're gone :D.

  5. Just letting you know I still have some left. I missed a few PM's, life's been busy lately, started school and my side job of photography is booming. I do check on a regular basis now. Please feel free to PM me if interested.

  6. Well, this process has taken a backseat, so has my posting, with me trying to start my photography business. I might not make it this year unfortunately. I think I'm going to order a new set of armor next year so I can have a fresh start. Too much work trying to get the "gift armor" to elite status. I would have to replace too many parts and I could pay for a new suit for around the same cost.

  7. Not a problem bud. Down to 15 sheets that are ready to go. I found another roll of it in my garage when cleaning. So I will have more available. I also have a few small scraps (2"x6" & 3"x5" approximately) if anyone is wanting even less. They vary in size but I will sell them for $1.50+fees+shipping. I only have like 4 of them.

  8. i rented it from netflix and i was blown away. litterally :P. it was a fun game. and definate "going to buy" game. just haven't had the funds. i'm seriously waiting for "bad company". that game is going to rock.

right now i'm addicted to navyfield. its a mmots (massive multilplayer online tactics simulation). i play on a chinese server, because the american version you have to pay to play and i'm not down with that.

  9. That is correct, the left ear is turned towards the back of the helmer while the right one is in a more vertical position. You can see the difference in this pictures.

Which material is your TE bucket made of? If it is made of HDPE plastic you need to scuff the surface with a scotch brite before apply any paint. I can PM you the paint brands that I used for mine if you wish.

    Cheers

Thanks for the feedback. It is HDPE gray with a textured surface. I've been reading up on 2 component urethane which from what I've gathered is what you are suppose to use when painting HDPE. I just have to find where I can get some and see what kind of "white" they offer in it. If it's not a close match, I might take it to my local body shop guy and see what he can do with it. The only problem I'm really having right now is getting this paint off. I think Matt used an epoxy paint, so paint thinner doesn't seem to work on it. I saw some stuff at Home Depot that you can use to removed epoxy paint, but I held up on getting it. I'm gonna see if my brother think he can use his sandblaster possibly to take this off, unless he or anyone thinks it might be too harsh for the HDPE. So that's where I'm at right now. The reason I don't want to use some of the other paints mentioned is because I want to possibly troop this helmet.

  10. if you are concerned about cost, i got mine off the big auction site for very little money, but it was made really good. i believe it is a regular item. if you need, i'll send you a link. just pm me if interested. however, if you are not concerned about cost, go with steve's recommendation and get Wyatt's setup. it's top notch.
