Great pack- as always!

Looks great. Yes, ditto on the Silver coin??

I read where Lucas preferred the person in the Stormtrooper suit to be 5'10". He liked the way the armor fitted a person that size. But, as you can see in the photos below, the people playing them were all different heights. I guess Lucas didn't tell the casting director to send out a call for anyone 5'10" X number of pounds. I know that they do this in the movies when they are casting for parts for extras or a certain type.
If we are talking about Hamill, he is not what his bio says 5'9". All actors exaggerate things about themselves and the number one thing is usually height. You can tell that Hamill is not tall because of his chest piece being trimmed much shorter so you can see his AB plate.
As for anybody that actually did play a Stormtrooper in the OT, meeting them now and trying to get an idea of what their height was 30 plus years ago would be hard, because as you get older your body compresses and thus you height shortens. So their height 30 years ago is not what it is now.
I had my picture taken with Hammill at C V and I put him about 5'7" - 5'8."

Looks great. Nice pack.

Nothing more to say than- THE BEST!
-
Welcome aboard! There are plenty of troopers in the Dallas area. The North Texas Squad of the Star Garrison covers that area. Good luck.
-
One of the best TK suits I have ever seen. The envy of the Legion!
-
That is one BFG!!
-
That Shocktrooper looks great.
-
Plenty of great troopers around the Houston area to help you out. Trooping at Space Center (NASA) is one of my favorite troops.
-
If you want to meet a few of your future garrison mates, we will be at the Barnes and Noble at La Cantera this Saturday, August, 21 from 2-4 pm.
As far as undersuit is concerned, HeatGear from Under Armour works best for me.
Welcome!

How hot is it?? Make sure you get some fans for your helmet. I usually troop in 90-95 degree weather and could not do it without them.

I purchased some gloves from you in the past and they were tremendous. You have given great service to 99.999% of the forum members and hopefully, you may reconsider down the road. I understand your anger and you went to the correct place to "voice" it out. There is always a "bad" apple in every batch, but it does not stop the making of the cider or the sauce!

What will the cost of the T-21s be?
-
Awesome job!! Love those pouches.
-
Awesome- I knew you would give in!
-
I think an E-ll for MEPD deployment is fine. There is so much more that goes into that costume than a HWT.
-
It can also be an easy way to go double EIB. Just take your EIB TK, add pouches, pauldron, pack and BFG and you're done
The only real trick is just making sure your drop boxes are removable from your belt.
You mention the "BFG." Currently, the CRL allows the use of an E-11. I personally don't think the E-11 should be allowed for a HWT- it kind of defeats the purpose plus almost every TK already has an E-11.
Good time to open a poll whether we should allow the E-11 for EIB HWT??
Thanks

Welcome aboard! You will find a ton of great info here regarding costume modifications and yes, be sure to register on the Star Garrison forums for upcoming trooping events in your area.

Incredible job and well deserved!
Quick question- can you separate ANH Stunt and Hero for two EIB awards, or is it one or the other for one award? I know I saw some discussion about this somewhere in the forums before.
-
Al, nice to see you over here. There are a ton of resources and great troopers with great advice. ANREV makes pretty good holsters.
-
Great job on this!! Congrats.
-
Thanks Guys!
This would not have been possible without some serious skill and talent from a couple of other troopers (TD 2557 and Grand Moff Niko).
-
I must give kudos where it is due- TD 2557 built the pack and Grand Moff Niko was responsible for the DLT-19.

Great job, guys. This is what it's truly about- giving back.
