Neb Sgird[TK]
Hey all, I'm starting my first build and am trying to figure out how to build out the inside of my helmet. I may be getting ahead of myself here (I've still never even seen the inside of anyone's bucket, let alone tried one on), but I'm thinking I'll want it just about as breezy as possible. Thus, I'm thinking it might not be the best to just build foam padding around my head to keep things in place. It won't be breathable and I can imagine it soaking up all my sweat and ending up smelling terrible after a few troops. I vaguely remember seeing someone building their helmet around a hard hat suspension system, something like this, but I can't for the life of my find it again on the forums. It might be as simple as pointing me to the right thread, but what are everyone's opinions? Thanks!
Chapaaz[501st]
I used a hard hat inners for the inside of my bucket. Really comfortable and not really that hard to do. Little bit of a pain getting it in the right place. -------------- Edited June 9, 2021 by gmrhodes13 link not working, removed gmrhodes13 2021
