First Order Storm Trooper Armour

Hello, 

 

we have a full first order storm trooper armour. we are currently working on getting it prepped for 501st, does it matter if the chest pill vents and the vent at the top of the chest plate under the chin are cut out or do they have to be painted black? on the forearms can the black sections be cut out or do they have to be painted?

You can cut them out for increased accuracy, but it is not required.
