HASBRO E-11 Electronic Mod?

I was told that there was a mod to the sound board in the Hasbro E-11 that will let you select only one of the two sounds that cycle when you shoot it. But I ave been unable to find this mod. Anyone know about it?

Never mind.

After posting this question I stumbled an OT posting in another thread with TK MD's reply.

 

"not a rocket scientist here.... but if you take the battaries out and put back in and pull the trigger the first sound sould be the first capacitor in the circuit, I would find the 2 capacitor and work my way back from them to the power source. And also try to remove the capacitor as skillfully as you can, in case it the wrong one, and re solder it in. Once again i am a very amatuer electronic guy but i have fixed more things then i have broke. I would also wait a while before trying this, someone is bound to crash my theory and give you the right answer
