good call! I would imagine the flood control also prohibits searches of terms like "TE, AP, etc..."

I work long hours and was never able to make trips to craft stores so I ordered mine in bulk from eBay.
Granted you may prefer to buy it in person and have it faster but there are a lot of 'crafts' suppliers that have excellent prices!
They usually charge per yard and have any width (and color) of nylon webbing you need...in addition to buckles (center or side release) and snaps.

Hey Gang,
My Name is Tim Quirino - I've been a LONG time lurker on these boards while constructing my first set of FX armor as a TX - Blackhole Stormtrooper.
I was approved for 501st membership today and would love to participate in discussions on this board as well as learn more about the more accurate versions of the suit for future reference and an eventual TK or TD

Whoa! I'm definately interested in the "pimp" option:
Sign me up for a set of FINELY FINISHED Hovi's with built-in, pre-wired speakers when they're ready!

agreed - I'm using the 3 9v setup and it works great

try this!

I found that the fans are really only effective if they have a source for the cooler air, which explains why it's mounted on the frown-vents.
I also used tiny aluminum grommets (from a craft supply store) as "feet" for the fans.
If I had a 2nd set of fans like you do, (and if I were really brave/meticulous) I would cut out the decal vents at the rear of the dome and mount fans inside of them to blow out all the hot air (hot air rises, might as well help it get out!)
WANTED PATCHES

there are tons of people looking to trade for patches on the 501st boards - and I agree - it's definately an excellent incentive to have finished a set of armor and become a registered member!
