    Hey Troopers, I was just made aware of this thread. I'm TK1362 (Mike Lee) from the Florida Garrison. I contacted and paid Pat Barrett to design the TCI for me. I paid him thousands of dollars in design fees and as part of our original contract he was to provide me with the CAD files or design for the TCI. After years of hard work and promoting the TCI, PAT not only never provided me with the design files but has broken off relations with me and is stealing my hard work. I will be contacting a lawyer to get the designs and the money that he has never paid me! Pat has been keeping all the profits for himself. I have only ever received $100.00 dollars from Pat since the conception of the TCI.

     

    I sincerely ask that you don't purchase from PAT and give me time to regain control of my product. The TCI is a great product and I'm proud of it, but it is only the great product that it is because I was so strict on the standards and refused several earlier designs until it met my specifications. We have a great club and I know you wouldn't want something like this to happen to you, so please help me by not buying from Pat.

    I use this mic: -------

     

    I just use velcro strips to hold the entire harness inside the helmet and thus can remove the helmet without keeping the harness on my head.

     

    I removed the powered portion of the mic since the TCI does not need it with this microphone.

    SOLD! I'm selling my FX Helmet that has been weathered for TD. Helmet comes fully modified with working fans and hovi-mic speakers. All you need is a microphone and voice amp.

     

    I'm asking $120.00 since the helmet is assembled and has mod's.

    You will receive an email when your TCI has been shipped. Also, here is a by name list of the TCI's that have shipped:

    On Saturday April 5, 2008 we shipped TCI units to the first 10 orders on our list. I am sending each person we shipped to an email to letting them know. The TCI units were shipped via US Postal Service.

    Here is the email from my engineers:

     

    Hi Mike,

     

    Today we shipped the first 10 units of the second build.

    We will be completing and shipping units all during the coming week.

     

    We have more than 40 orders, so we still have more than 30 units to complete and ship.

     

    We have already discovered that we only sent 1 unit to Stuart Wilkshire, but he ordered 2 units, so we will be shipping him another unit ASAP.

    Hi.

    Not got mine yet but searching forthe other bits i will need.(Hows mine coming along Mike?)

    Anyone got a recomendation for a mic for this?.

    I have aeriator speakers coming but thought i might get a extra speaker on my belt (been told there not too loud).

    should the belt one be just a speaker or a amplified one?.

    thinking about wireing all 3 up..

    Steve, we are currently in the process of mailing units!

     

    You don't need an amplified speaker, just a regular speaker will work. I've seen troopers put speakers behind the drop boxes which worked out pretty well.

    A portion of the TCI units failed our final phase of inspection; don't worry, just a minor glitch that my engineers can easily fix. It should only delay shipping by a day or two.

     

    Just wanted to give you guys an update!

     

    We are really big on quality and ensuring that every TCI is made to last and performs perfectly!
