Take it easy, Vincent...
Get back healthy...we'll be waiting!
-
All major decisions are handled the old fashioned way...rock, paper, scissors...
No need for ranks!
Otherwise, what Paul said...
-
Clamps and/or painters tape works really well with any helmet build...

Suit ( 3 piece, dress shirt & pants, tie) and labcoat. I can use scrubs but i hate them!!!!!! ( during med school, the health code stated that because i was so hairy i had to shave my chest, back & fore arms.......( but i could use my beard if i had a Tie-On Surgical Mask) can u imagine that!!!!!
So i stay clear from them if i can.......
LOL!
Get caught doing a lot of surgeries without a shirt on??
That's a bit excessive of a reg!

We use to wear shirts/ties/dress pants/dress shoes...but we're dealing with industrial sites that aren't very clean...after going through a couple pairs of outfits the first year we were testing printing ink plants, we changed the dress code...
Now its jeans and polo shirts...

I needed something fatty to soak up the fun I had last night....
Double Cheeseburger with Jalapenos from Whataburger....
I am regretting it now
Those things will stick with you ALL day...that's why I stopped my habit...
As to lunch...I had grilled tuna sandwich with a salad...diets aren't TOO bad...

Phil,
If you've got time, go here: http://www.medievaltimes.com/
Kids should get a kick out of the knights...good way to broaden their armor exposure...
Have fun in Florida...

Also, are you guys thinking that perhaps we should issue a bunch for the month of July for past achievements? Seems we could have about 10 to hand out.
That's a great idea Paul...
How about the "Inaugural 10"? Then you can go one per month...
And I'm 2nding/3rding/4thing (however many they're up to) Stomper, Nathan (9135), Smitty and Mike (4150)...

i also think that a "ground assult" we ar talking about tens of millions of units ( droids, stromtroopes etc)
I know in the Republic Commando books, there was mention of MILLIONS of battle droids that were never seen by the GAR. One of the recon trips they figured out some obscene number of droids that were being produced, and figured they could be overrun rather quickly, seeing putting droids together is a lot faster than growing clones.
Plus, lets not forget that Palps was playing both sides, only to scatter the resources of the Jedi, not to really take over planets.

WOW...I'm starting to geek out...
Man oh man oh man...what an awesome trip that would be!
Come on, Alex...we need to represent M!ch!gan...

I would have no problem flying myself across the globe to be in the new TV series.
I ditto that...
And yeah, I think it is in 3D...I'll go see them, being a junkie and all, but I know the time to get up and get refills (aka, pod racing scene)...

Ramon...
Got in for two...all steps complete...
Thanks again!

about 6 months ago was the first time I'd noticed the TK that hits his head in ANH. I've never laughed so hard in my life, I stopped and rewound that scene about 10 times and was crying by the end. Still can't believe that scene got by me unnoticed for all these years. The 'thunk' noise it makes is so obvious aswell!
I did the same thing when I first noticed it a few years ago...anyone have that problem during a troop with hitting their helmet on something?
That's the reason there should always be cameras rolling during events... That would make a great blooper reel...
-
SCREW THAT!!!
I've waited for quite a while to get into a run of your armor...I'm not backing out if you doubled my money back to me!
Tony, you're a great, stand up person...don't worry about what other armor is out there. If we wanted the other armor, we wouldn't have ordered yours...
Ok...off the soap box...
-
Looking forward to the package from Daetrin and the PM from Anthony. Wooot!!
Hopefully with better luck and less stress than my package...
Least it worked out in the end!
-
And for driving my wife nuts!
This week, Spike TV has been showing all six movies from Star Wars...they finally got to the original trilogy on Thursday. While watching, I've been pausing, rewinding, going frame by frame on each scene with TKs in it...sometimes more than once, pointing out armor flaws to my wife, who doesn't really care...
I don't think I'll ever be able to watch the original trilogy the same again...
Thank you everyone here for making me a more knowledgeable Star Wars fan!

Happy Fathers Day to all the dads out there...even if it isn't marked on the calendar where you're at...
-
Better still, post up your address and we can pop round for a look.
Don't forget to leave a window open will you.
Only if you'll put together some of the armor kit while you're "visiting"...

Uhm...how about great quality staff?
Oh, wait...already done.
How about an easy to use forum?
Oh, wait...already done.
How about...free beer Fridays?
This is the best forum/community I've ever been a part of...everyone has been very friendly, the staff is always willing to help out noobs with their questions...
I can't really think of anything to improve upon...

8 buckets? Lets see that family picture. It is fun to see them all lined up.
Three aren't even put together yet...
Just one project after another...I'll post one when I get back from my road trip...
-
I swooped in and got it...
Helmet number 8 to the collection...
-
For sound proofing, you might want to get some windscreens...they'll take up less space, and should work better.
I know that's what we use on our dosimeters and sound level meters...
-
Thank you everyone for the feedback...
I'm going to try a chin strap with each helmet, move the padding, etc, and see what works the best...least I finally found the right size elastic!
-
Just a couple of questions for those of you that have chin straps for your buckets...
1) They're optional for a helmet, correct?
2) If you've trooped with/without a chin strap, which did you prefer and why?
Just curious...I know it would help with stability, but I just don't like having a strap sitting there... Figured I'd ask the experts before I made a decision with my helmet(s).
Thanks!
