The manni without armor shouldnt be more than 178 cm. Dont know what the armor adds to the height of the Mannequin. Perhaps you could measure it without the helmet. I think the boots will make about 1-2 cm.

ANOVOS seems to have a pretty high accuracy level goal with their products so i wouldn't be surprised if they indeed had contacted RS to work together on this one. Well, at least i hope they did and they aren't recasting without any permission...
We will have to wait for on of the guys from RS to tell us.
Cant imagine RS is working with them together. If its a cast of a RS suit and they offer a completed helmet with Kit armor, undersuit and belt for just 350 USD !!!!....and RS props would sell the same for three times as much....sorry i as a RS customer would be pissed of that fact and since the Suit of Anovos is not limited the Anovos offer would be a shot in the knee of RS. If its a RS clone that its certainly not with their permission. They also made every armor project with MonCal to date. I'm really curiouls to know the truth of this suits origins but i have no doubt Paul is right with his conclusions.

again you did a great job in optimize your prop stuff. I'm very happy for you finding the right armor for display and the result couldnt be better...especially in combination with your great selfmade blaster. Dont forget to post pics of the full display if you have found the proper mannequin for it.

I think its a great movie but too long for my taste and i cant imagine that people in 30 years still talk about this movie like they do with SW. I think i will never see a movie i will be that impressed like with Jedi in '83:)

I remember when Gino bashed ya on the RPF. You have something he can't. That will never set well. Its starting with Fett now on TDH... Gino has turned attention to that. I know that we have talked before on it pubilc and private... I would love to see a Joe R lid hit the fan base, but with all this... I hope it never does in the same breath.
What happened on the TDH with Gino? Any infos?

I'm pretty sure Gino is the only one again who left the thread without a warning. This staff is just a big joke. After the threads being closed he starts the next pissing match against Jez in the "Vader Suits" thread

yep.I'm surprised it arrived in as good condition as it did. The box was barely touched!
I thought you have put away the padding for better pics but this is how he sent it? Unbelievable. Dude this guy sucks.

Glad you got your stuff Mark. TE seems to have finished all the armor/helmets in a hurry. I have to admit that this sucks after all this long time waiting for that stuff. But if you like the crappy look of the originals (like me).....its ok, although certainly not planed or wanted by Matt.

My SFS arrived at home. The paintjob is crappy as hell...even worster than on the pics. It looks like Matt has finished this thing in 5 minutes....very customerfriendly after a waiting time of over one year. But i will leave that helmet as its finished now. Dont have the nerves and money to make the finish better. I just need some accurate lenses and mic-tips for the helmet. So if anyone has an idea where to get or something to offer ...please Pm me. I hope the other stuff you guys are waiting for will come with a better finish and better shape.

I never heard that the SFS was also available in HDPE...only in FG. And if i remember right the SFS FG was by far the most expensive helmet TE offered. I for myself like the rocksolid character of a FG helmet....i also own a Mattiza ROTJ in FG and its a great lid. The TE ABS helmet i own is nice but very thin.

The damage just above the trapezoid looks like smeared paint and one the right side (in front of the lid) you can see a paint chip.

You paid good money for a finished helmet, waited over a year and for what.....a damaged, half finished helmet?
I would ask for either a new helmet (like the one that you paid for) or a partial refund (if you are happy to accept the helmet you have) to make up for the cost of the missing parts and labour to finish it off.

You're right Paul, but honestly i thought that i never would see anything from him, so maybe i was too happy about getting anything
I will wait until the helmet arrives and will make a decision. But i doubt he will send me money or even a new helmet. What are the costs for accurate mic-tips and lenses? He also took too much money for shipping ....50 USD instead of 35 USD. So i could sum up these things and ask for a refund. -

Yes, my friend Leo received the helmet and checked its condition. It is slightly damaged and came without mic-tips and lenses....i paid for a fully finished helmet. But i'm glad it arrived and hopefully the whole drama has an end now. Over one year full of stress and countless emails later
I really hope everyone will get his ordered stuff soon and in good condition as ordered. Hopefully no one else will order from him in the future...i for sure wont

I'm waiting for a SFS fiberglas helmet. Paid 400 USD for it incl. the 50 USD one week ago for another shipping. Ordered sometimes in December of 2008, but will check again.

A helmet from the US to most of Europe is around $35 for International Priority.

I had to sent him 50 USD for shipping with UPS with tracking number. He wrote me that he has sent the helmet but not with UPS which would cost 228 USD with tracking
but with USPS with only a parcel number. He has sent it on my own wish to a buddy in the netherlands because of german custom problems but wasnt happy about that and he told me that he would not be guilty if the helmet which left him in great condition would be damaged during the second shipping. Dont know but still have a very bad feeling about this. I'm also interested what the real shipping costs are. -

Just want to inform you that Matt contacted me because of a quote for shipping with tracking number for my SFS helmet. I will post if everything goes smoothly and i have received the helmet in perfect condition.
