  1. I really dont have any complaints. This year went really well for me, I recieved all my orders in a timely manner, everyone was great with assistance and advise to questions I posted. And, I had a great time trooping this past year too.

The only real troubleing issue I've encountered, is " Trading Cards". I cant seem to get any made thru 501st. Is there gonna be any more runs on trading cards? Do you know a company where I can get them made at? And, can I use the FISD logo on the card? I got a design created. Thanks

  2. I was christmas shoping in Wal-Mart today, and of course I got to swing thru the toy section and check out the Star Wars stuff. And there it was.... LOL .

A whole endcap of Large AT-ST's. So I put off Christmas shopping for a week and grabbed one. These thing are the best and largest AT-ST released yet. It stands approx 12-13inches high, and is apporox 6 inches wide. The crew compartment hatch and panel opens, you can switch out the cannons for missile launchers, and everything moves on it.

So, how many of you have purchased one????

  3. My .02 cents. I like both medals.

Heres a though. The maroon medal could be a Commendation Medal, and the grey/blue could be a Service Medal. Another thought too, design a medals and ribbons to represent Cons you have trooped. Add Oak leaf clusters for second awards. Each Con would be a different medal.

Many civilian non profit organizations offer medals to members for their dedication too the organization. For instance, In US; VFW, American Legion, and onorable Order of Kentucky Colonels award medals to members and civilians.

  4. Thanks to the info you and others have provided me. I made many corrections to mistakes I made assembling the armor and submitted my application today for 501st status and TK 8854 ID. Thanks again to everyone that offered advice and feedback on this project. Now I'm looking into beginning a Custom Jungle Mando.

  5. Holster straps need to be placed behind the belt, not over it. The straps should be attached by a single rivet per strap on the lower part of the belt for stunt configuration.

    And

The thermal detonator faceplate is upside down.

Thanks, Heres the latest pics with corrections. Please set blasters for stun, and blast away. Let me know of anything you see that needs attention. Thanks , Derek

  7. Yes, your correct. I've looked over the pics too, and seen many small things, and have been making corrections on then this evening.

1.UnderArmour logos have been colored over.

    2. I've cut some longer strips of black velcro to hold the shoulder bells in place. The one that came with the kit were too short for my shoulders and came unattached when I moved my arms. The replacements should work better and allow more movement.

    3. Yes, there is a rivet in my center back shoulder harness. The washer came out of it, and I had to re-rivet it. I filled the rivet hole with Elmers glue, and then painted the rivet with Dupli-Color Bright White NG GM 433 scratch fix paint. This allows the rivet too blend with the surrounding armour. Plus, because of my 51 inch trucker gut, suspenders dont work well for me, and the ab armor and back armor kept popping over breast and shoulder armour. The rivet hold it in place in back, and some Industrial velcro did the trick for the front.

    4. I'm still needing too tim the upper thighs. currently, I walk around like Frankenstein and cant bend my right knee. Plus, straps are being replaced over the kit straps.

    5. Belt: yes, it the plastic belt that came with the kit. I use the 3 pvc strips velcro'd together, to hold ab armour in place. I got 2 different size canvas belts, but they are too small. I sent in my waist measurements, instead of gut measure ment when I ordered them. This will be upgraded in the future to a canvas belt.

    6. The mics on the helmet are the ones that come with the kit. I just painted them flat black, and am planning on replacing them with the kit Stomper has. I'm #24 on his list. lol

  8. I'm finishing up my TK, and I was curious about the TK number. I've ask before and followed the links, and seen that all four digit numbers are spoken for. But yet, I see new TK coming on board using preexisting numbers. I'm confused. Maybe someone can clear this up for me. I want to use TK designation 8852A. Is this allowed since all 9999 nubers are currently assigned?
