  1. Hi there!

    I´m sorry for the lack of communication. I didn´t found the time to build or do anything other than working really.

    Anyway here is the current state of my Build. The Biceps and Forearms are attached. Now the lower legs need some work.:tkreal:

    Would the thighs need to sit higher? Does moving the belt up would be sufficient?

    As always thank you very much for any feedback! :duim:

  2. Hi everyone!

    Sadly I wasn´t really communicative the last few weeks.

    As I said I was on Holiday for two weeks, after that I got sick again and didn´t felt like building.

    I´m going to cut the coverstrips to there appropriate length today and post pictures about the sniper plate (hopefully I´m not going to forget it again :P)

    Nice work. Very neat. :-)

    With the top of the coverstrip, personally, I’d always recommend that a coverstrip never exceeds the length of the armour piece that you’re attaching it to. This is based on screen used suits. (More about that here:

    )

    Also, unless you are preferring the rounded coverstrip ends, the originals were cut at approximately 45° angles. If you are aiming for screen accurate (rather than idealised), that’s another option you could take.

    As always, these are just suggestions. emoji16.png

    I personally prefer the rounded cover strips but I´m still debating on going with a more screen accurate look to keep it uniform.

    Hi Nick, the position looks ok, and typically , front cover strips go 20 mm front and 25 back.  Before gluing the cover strips could you please post a photo as bellow?

    Here are the pictures you requested TKSpartan (at least I hope so :P) .

    Little note on the side, I only did the right thigh up to this point.

    The back side isn´t quite ready yet because I would like the front to be finished first.

    The return edges on the forearms and shoulders are almost done. Hopefully it looks as good on the pictures as it does in reality. There is only on part on which I´m not sure about: the upper part of the inside of the forearms. The shall be completely removed I believe.
