  1. I usually mess with kids (of course depending on the event) Take thier stuff, knock their hats off. Then point to another TK and blame it on them. Photobomb pictures of people who don't realize you are there.

Sometime people just love to see you doing non-troopeish thinks. Like holding a balloon, pushing a stroller, etc.

  2. I have appoximately this much hair:

any tips for getting into the helmet?

I tried tucking the dreads into the neck seal, but it's uncomfortable, and i can't turn my head if I do that.

Right now i just sort of wrap it up behind my head, but it pushes the helmet backwards when I do that, so my nose os pressed agains the front. Which is also uncomfortable. :( Any tips, suggestions, or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

  3. Interesting. But is it needed to say "Star Wars character"? I mean, why dress up as any character? Robocop? Iron Man? Batman? Pokeman? Winnie the Pooh? A French maid? An early 1900s gentleman? Are the underlying reasons not all the same?

Not for me and my wife, we may dress up at con or for Halloween for ourselves, but anytime we put on the armor, it's for the kids. We only wear the clone or TK at charity events, or events that raise money for charity.

also, please post pics of your Winnie the Pooh costume :D

  4. don't use any of those, go with a wal-mart voice changer and micro speakers. cheap, and gets the job done. FEEDBACKLESS, and SELF-CONTAINED!

    that's what i did...

the fans are also running... you can hear them....

I did this, works fine for me. And the Walmart voice changer is only $5.88. The only downside is no volume control, but at that price, you really can't complain. You can use the existing speaker, or connect it to aerator speakers.
