  1. Hey Guys thanks for the advice. This was the first time suiting up so I expected to have to make changes. Have have tightened up and tweaked the internal strapping and hope to get a more accurate look.

TM hit the nail on the head,  "OPTIONAL Level two certification (if applicable):  Sniper knee plate must be aligned with the ridges on the shin."

Going off the CRL the the only way I could get the  knee plate ridges to line up with the shin was to have the big gap at the bottom. I have reattached it and closed the gap but now the ridges don't line up.  I am shooting for as screen accurate as possible, ill just wait for the CRL to be updated to reflect screen accuracy before applying for  EIB and Centurion.

I am going to have the boots resoled with white soles so I don't have to worry about painting them every 2nd or 3rd troop.

I sent the same photos in for basic approval at the same time as creating this post and I was approved!! First approved ROTJ-TK  for the Badlands Garrison.

I will post updated pictures the next time I suit up.

  2. Hey Guys,

I have been working on this for the past couple months and would love to hear your thoughts. The Blaster is just a cheap one I found and painted just to have something to hold. I will apply for higher levels once I get a proper ROTJ style E-11 and white soles put on the boots as well.

  3. Has anyone ever dealt with either of these makers? I'm looking for a ROTJ E-11 and want to take it to Centurion and these are the only 2 decent ones I can find.

The pics they have up look good but I figured I would ask if anyone has had any dealings or feedback with them. I don't want to put a bunch of money out there and realize they don't meet Centurion standards. Looking for any feedback, not just on ROTJ E-11's as they both offer other versions.

    1st one is 3D-props.com

    3d-props.com

He offers kits with and without BlastFX

2nd one has a shop on Etsy and is called

    LuckyStarWorkshop.

    ------------

His kit is assembled and painted with LED's (I'm worried about importing it built and painted. Don't know if it would get confiscated at the border.) Any Canadians brought in a built and painted E-11?

I am going to pick up the BlastFX from Trooperamp regardless.

    Welcome fellow Canuck!

There's no such thing as asking too many questions, but not asking enough is definitely a thing.  As mentioned, check the latest CRLs to make sure you're up to date on requirements.

After that, read, ask questions, read, ask more questions, and keep your build thread going and active.  Post lots of pictures.

Have you sourced your armour and parts yet?

For the most part yes,  my TK and bucket  kit are on the way from CFO and I have boots ordered from IB. I'm juggling between 2 different blaster kits and have yet to source a neck seal or holster. Webbing and undersuit I'll get locally in town.

More the less the same, there are a few details which are different and both CRL's have undergone updates recently, have a compare of the ANH and ROTJ CRL's http://databank.501st.com/databank/Costuming:FISD_CRL

Also have a read through this comparison sheet https://drive.google.com/file/d/10tEVteIreh6AHMogW010cuH_Bf8TBfU6/view

I have read through all the CRL's extensively and noticed the differences, the file in the Google drive was exactly what I was looking for, thank you very much!

Built mine about 2 years ago. Got it from  Sskunkie and even that took about 3 months to get. He was the only one making them back then. Just not enough demand unfortunately.  If you’re forced to convert an ANH, I can send you lots of photos of the different greeblies, the rails, the scope, etc.   Wish I could help.

Thanks Spada that would be greatly appreciated, I'll send you a PM with my email, if you could send them over I'll have a look.

I want to go ROTJ centurion build from the get go and the E-11 is crucial, I just don't think I have the means to fabricate the parts nessary to do the conversion.

  7. Anyone know of somebody doing

ROTJ E-11 currently?  I have searched through the forums and anything that has been mentioned is a dead link or the maker doesn't do them any more. I have seen proto types on YouTube with no contact. I don't want to have to convert a ANH if I don't have to.

I spoke with Sskunky and he is not able to do them for the time being.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

    Welcome aboard Murray!!

If you haven't done so, log into the Badlands Garrison Forum.   https://www.badlands.ca/

We have a large number of members in Calgary who would love to help you out. I recommend hitting up an armour party, as it's a great way to meet fellow garrison mates, get tips/help on how to build your armour and just hang out.

Hopefully we'll have the chance of trooping together soon.

I requested access a few days ago, looking forward to meeting some local folks!

    Hey guys and gals,

I just wanted to say hi and thanks for the wealth of knowledge shared here and thank you for being part of this amazing community.

My name is Murray, I'm from Calgary Alberta Canada. I have been following you all for a long long time. I have wanted to build a ROTJ suit for many years and now have the time and means to get it started. I am as green as it gets and have never taken on a build like this.

I'm going to apologize in advance, I'll have many questions and will most likely be bugging some of you for information more than you care.

Thanks again and I'm thrilled to be part of your community
