[Best brand velcro/hook and loop?]

I am finishing up my calf armor for my first ever kit and I wanted to know what people have used for velcro on their kits. I think the velcro ANOVOS supplied me for the calf armor is too wimpy and I want to use a more industrial strength velcro. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the tips. I am talking with the WI Garrison on their forum page as well about getting my shin armor finished. It is coming to a point where I may have to create shims to lengthen some sort of closure on the back of the armor. However, this is the first kit I have ever made, and since I am so close to being done, and since I am very nervous about diverging from the instructions, I do not feel comfortable doing this without a more professional opinion. 

 

If you are aware of any members in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin (USA) area that may be able to help me with this I would be very grateful. I have come so far with this and I am very hesitant.

Hey everyone, my name is Simon I am an aspiring 501st member of the Milwaukee area. I own an ANOVOS ANH trooper kit and I have been working on it for about a year now. I am in the final stages of assembly and I am looking for help trying to figure out how to build my shin armor. I will be posting pictures of my progress here for you to comment on and if you have any tips or help I would be grateful! Currently I am trying to figure out how to get my shins to close but my calf muscles are too big. I have room to flex the armor plastic but I need a seasoned builders perspective to make it work right. Thanks, and I look forward to hearing from the community.
