  1. Hello, I have tried many times to start my armor build to no avail.  I had a set of defective armor I started.  Now I want to start again on the new armor.  I have since moved to Texas.  I really want to find a local garrison armor party or someone near San Antonio to help me with my build.  I am on the trimming phase.  I don't even know where to make the first cut.  The last time I screwed it up.

Yes I am. I am trying to document every part of my build (build is going slow) but I am making progress. I hope to make it to centurion. I'm following you as well and am looking forward to see both of us go through this adventure ha ha.

I am freaking out, I don't think I am doing any of this right.  I feel like I have already ruined my body pieces haha.  Yikes, its' all a learning process.

  3. Locitus, a member I happened to find on the forum has a post showing an original ANH TK. Lots of pictures of various pieces including measurements! Here is the link to your post. Looks like you already have lots of pros giving you help

Holy smokes thank you sir! I've been following your build thread as well. Are you going for Stunt or Centurion?

  4. Yes and no it sort of becomes a personal thing for people. Using the bracket system you need a bare minimum of 5mm preferably 8mm to make sure you have room for your screws. The less you leave more likely it is you'll have to use snaps and nylon or elastic strapping.

What does 5mm even look like, like how would you measure that? I actually forgot to get a ruler so I'm gonna go buy that today. Any recommendations?

  5. No worries Josh. That is why we are here to help you along and get you in the best looking set of armor possible. Snap plates are essentially a piece of abs with a snap put into it and then placed on your, lets say lower back, you then make another that aligns on the upper kidney plate. You then use elastic or nylon strap and place the other half of the snap in it. Then you connect the two pieces. I used the bracket system, but the idea is the same.19da1d9ce6ba50d1cb57e99560d4d9be.jpg&key=fc45453fa9382320a2ae7d625d27f533656e0a70150a8fe11ee5161c0b989174

Oh sweet that's awesome I think I bought a bracket system. Also how the hell do I trim this belt piece? Haha772af24b66c1ea20e972d217304e5b1f.jpg46212bb0e0e7bf134eca3d0f4effc32a.jpg
