Thanks everyone.

 

There’s some money in the bank towards an armour kit and I’ve been putting together the collection of tools, additional parts in prep for the big day.

 

That’s a while away, still saving and doing research.

 

Through my research I have found a lot of information that will be invaluable. The people here and at other 501st forums are amazing, so much detail has been posted and facts researched. A fantastic effort.

 

I have a list of things to get and I’m trying to work out where from, but thats part of the fun.

Hello there, I'm Derek and I live just outside Glasgow.

 

I'm taking the first steps into the world of 501st. I'm at the important research stage of armour buying for a TK impression, reading lots of info on 501st related sites/forums and watching video's of building, props and painting.

 

It's going to be a few months until I'm in a position to submit for clearance but I wanted to introduce myself in the mean time.

 

My aim is to be part of the Imperial Scottish Squad, UK Garrison and start trooping.
