    I too have the same question....How long are the aluminum strips BEFORE they are bent into the clip shape?

     

    From reading above, I gather 200mm is the answer but is that correct?? And would that be for just ONE clip? So I'd need to purchase enough to make two, right?

     

    I'm planning on making this myself because I need it completed by next weekend. If I had time to order pre-made clips I would, I the shipping time would be take too long and I'd missed my deadline. I'm pretty resourceful so I know I can make this. All I'm lacking is the length measurements so I know how much to buy this weekend from a hardware store. Thanks in advance for any help!!

    Welcome Katie to the FISD, Grab a Coke and a pack of Reese's and check out this section first and who knows you might even find a new set of armor for your husband in there!! 
    I cn tell you from experience that you'll be extremely happy with Walts kit and many have taken it up to EIB and Centurion as well. 
     
    Whats EIB and Centurion you ask? Check it out in this link and then you can read all about our march to 1000! 
    Any questions that come up during your build just post some photos and ask away! 


    Thanks so much for the resource links! Also, I wasn’t sure if I could use this as a WIP thread cause I was hoping to post pics as soon as we start assembling pieces together, but thanks to your comments I now know I can. We’ve been trimming and sanding and TRIMMING and I’m hoping the last 3 Saturday’s of prep work will make the assembly part go quicker. My buddies keep telling me I’ve made great progress but it just doesn’t really feel like it yet, but I trust them so....we will see soon, I suppose! Hopeful to post pics soon! Thanks!

    Hi everybody!!

     

    I’m officially a newbie and am looking to make some new friends to share my love of all things Star Wars! I have a couple friends who are 501st members and they’ve encouraged me to post a thread to introduce myself in addition to guiding me through an ANH TK build. (They are quite awesome people )

     

    A little about me....I’m a 30yro married woman from Defuniak Springs, Florida. My husband and I are the happy parents to a fluffy kitty cat . I work as a 7th grade civics teacher and have a blast most days teaching young kiddos about our awesome country
