[Anovos Shoulder Bridge Replacement]

It's time to replace my cracked and broken Anovos Shoulder Bridges on my ANH TK.  I have zero faith in getting replacement parts from them.  However, I see that other makers  (.e. ATA) do sell replacement sets.  Has anyone had any luck with replacing the bridges, and have you had any issue with color matching?

[HOWTO: Update Anovos Belt without destroying rivet covers]

Thank you for this tutorial.  I need to replace my belt, but fear damaging the plastic belt in the process.  Does anyone have any "after" shots of this method?  Any testimonials of approvals/ disapproval of their submissions after using this method?

I am also replacing the Anovos belt with a Kittle belt from Imperial Issue.    Any recommendations as to which color to choose of  white vs off-white?

 

I see both are authorized under the CRL.  The Original Anovos belt is off white.  I am thinking the white may look better against the armor, but may get dirtier faster especially after a few troops, and the off white may be a bit more forgiving in that department.

I have a pyle pro with an Iphone (Trooper talk.)  Any thoughts on just using the neck strap that comes with the speaker? For those of you that use Troopertalk, where do you keep your phone?

Hi , this thread (and this forum) have been excellent sources of info for a newbie like me.  Thank you all.  

 

I am almost ready to pull the trigger, and request membership. I just have a quick question. I am just a bit fuzzy on the step between 10-11.  Once i submit my application on http://www.501st.com/members/join_how.php,  I should wait for a response from the application, rather than immediately send my pictures to the GML, correct?

Hello from South Florida.  I have been a long time fan of the 501st, not only for the very cool uniforms and costumes, but I admire the community spirit of the group and how the trooping events give back in a lot of ways.  I have been reading the threads here for advice for a little while, and it was time i joined as a member.  I hope to have my armor ready for application to the 501st soon, and will have many questions along the way, and beyond as I continue to improve with blasters, voice changers , etc.   Looking forward to being a part of the ranks soon.
