ABS as Mathias says. HIPS can be pretty nice though, more forgiving to cut and put together, usually is cheaper. Downsides is you have to paint it, and it some parts along the thighs don't hold up as well over time. That said, when it wears out, just touch up and repaint. But I'm guessing 95%+ of armor out there is ABS, and there are reasons for it.
Thanks, i think i will go for the ABS then.

RS Props makes a PVC armour if you ask for it.
I know, my question is, should i go for the ABS one or the PVC, i am stuck, and don't know what to do.

Hello imperial Brothers,
I have a question and i don't know if anyone has the experience to give an experienced one, i am thinking on a PVC type plastic armor instead of ABS, can i get some advice on which i should go for.

Well there really isn't a reason to panic. We are here to help. I guess I'm a little confused by your issue with RS? I certainly would have expected that when you saw the vetted armor list that that armor would probably be high on the list for you to choose. RS is one of the best sets of armor out there. They build the armor for you if you request it. They also sell a blaster. So essentially the only items you would really need to purchase on your own are the undersuit and the boots. The undersuit is just a plain black "under armor" type workout gear. I'm sure there is something similar in Portugal. As far as boots go, there is TKboots.com and imperialboots.com.
The problem is that budget wise the SDS set complete is around 500GBP cheaper, around 700 or 800USD!
In there rests my problem...

Hi Herminio and welcome to FISD! Please request 501st access in the thread in the getting started area when you have a chance. Also please check out the various types of armor and where to find them thread. You will find a listed of vetted vendors to purchase armor from. You will notice SDS is not on that list. If you search around the forum you will find threads detailing why. But have no fear! Some of the vetted vendors offer built sets of armor for their customers. If you have any questions do not hesitate to ask! Have fun and good luck!
I have been reading aome threads regarding the armor issue, and to be honest now i am lost, as i said in the introduction i have no hand whatsoever to do arts and crafts, although i have seen some build videos, and there are some members here in Portugal making a TK build from a armor kit, i was tempted, but in the end i arrive to the conclusion that buying a complete ready to wear set is better.
I looked at the vendors, some of them before seeing the list, like RS, but what i thought price quality and the pachage feom SDS, complete with everything from blaster to boots to undersuit to gloves to everything, the way you dress the armor looked to me to be the best.
And now i am lost...
The other eeady to wear armor from TK for example is somewhat over my budget, from a vendor from the US the custom fees will make a very big difference...
Please help!!!!!!!!

I am thinking on buying a SDS Battle Spec. TK armour, since i don't have any skills in the arts of crafts.
Happy to be here, and hopefully soon as a full fledge Stormtrooper.
