It’s cut white. I bought mine commissioned as well, and it’s super shiny out of the box. I wouldn’t worry about keeping it super shiny because if you troop a lot, it’s an uphill battle.

What would be the best way to fix this? My FOTK is made by KB Props.

Brought it to a armor party. For anybody in the future, we used CA Stick Fast glue on the crack, and reinforced it with a piece of ABS plastic. Going to use Sharpie Peel-Off (http://a.co/fLaliVB) to cover the crack mark.
Here is the armor now:
I did not use the Sharpie Peel-Off yet. It's sealed very well, just need to cover it up.

Hey, any recommendations on how to fix a minor PVC crack in my thigh piece?

My shins don't move around too much at all, especially when wearing the boots. I'm going to re-submit new photos tonight and will post an update on the feedback. Hopefully I get approved!! I appreciate all the help and feedback!

With velcro
Without velcro
I'm having approval issues with my RS commission. I fixed all the other issues brought up to me by the GML, but this is the last issue and it seems to be a RS Prop Master mistake. Quote from GML:
QuoteGot your new pics. The back of the shins still overlap too much. Do you have them velcroid? If you look at the back you’ll see where the two parts that form that “V” that meet where the overlapping cover strip is. They should meet – not overlap like yours are doing. And the cover strip part looks too wide. What is the width of yours?I noticed on the shin pieces, the hooks don't stay hooked in. They pop out and their is no real tension. I added velcro, but I still seem to be having issues. Any suggestions? I've contacted RS Prop Masters about the issue. Awaiting a response.

Hey all! Finally got my RS ANH Stormtrooper Commission. What do ya'll think?
I'm a bit concerned about the thigh pieces. Not sure if I just had them on wrong, I had to put the belt on at about my belly to keep them high enough.

Hey everyone! My name is Matt, I'm 23 years old and live in Clermont, Florida. I'm a huge Star Wars fan, love computers, videos games, movies, and programming. I just attented Star Wars Celebration Orlando and had a blast! I've been wanting to get into the 501st since the last convention, but this time definitely lit a spark to join and do a Stormtrooper costume! I haven't been able to stop researching my costume. It's an awesome thought to be able to serve and volunteer in my community!I'm not crafty at all and never took on a project of this size, so I'm a little worried I'll mess it up. I've looked into a RS full commission, and feel a little bit more confident going that route, but I'm up for a challenge if I can get help along the way. Would love to hear your thoughts on doing a commission vs build kit.If anyone from Makaze squad or around the area wants to get together or if you need help at an event, let me know! I'll be there.-Matt

Commission build from RS - what do I need to consider?

I did a RS commission and I would do it 100x over. They are amazing. I’m not much of a builder and I work long hours, and I enjoy the trooping aspect more anyways. I had my TK in about 6 weeks and the measurements you need to take are super easy to get. Plus the quality of their builds is superb.
