I spent more time on the FISD forums than the MEPD when I was building my TD lol. About time you pulled the trigger on this! I’m soooo looking forward to trooping with you!

Hello and welcome! I'm in Parjai Squad, just got approved today! I live in DeFuniak so hopefully we'll be trooping together soon!
I totally understand about it feeling more real when you actually have something instead of just waiting. Just be patient don't give up. Lots of resources and help!

Hi all!
I had my BBB Day several weeks back and have been working on my armor ever since. I just wanted to post some pictures of where I'm at right now on the build, and hope I'm at least going in the right direction. I'm really only hoping for basic 501st approval, at least at this point. I haven't started the calves at all, and I think I need to work on the thigh strapping. They are tending to want to turn inward a bit. I need to go back and finish some slight trimming and sanding pretty much everything down. And, of course, weathering. I already posted over on MEPD but just wanted to see if I could get some opinions on whether or not I was on track towards basic approval. Thanks!!

Hi Patrick and welcome to FISD! Yeah I think your under armor will be fine. Also have you signed up over at the MEPD yet? That is the Sandtrooper detachment and they deal with all things dirty. Yes of course it is practically the same build as a TK and we have a ton of information here for you as well. Ask us any questions you may have and you can always start a build thread. Have fun and good luck!
I had actually just signed up. I've been browsing around the FISD for a while until deciding to go sandy. I'll be checking them out for info as well!

Hi all! My name is Patrick and I live in northwest Florida and looking to join up very soon. I am about to start on a TD build, and bought compression gear on Amazon for the under armor. The top looks good, plain black and one small logo that can be hidden. The bottom has some stitch seems running around it. My instinct is that this isn't going to work, but wanted some other opinions. Thanks!
