i have a extra pair but only for trade for a belt armor section, power pack w/e its called

i see people like tk-4935 with a tk,td,tb etc all the same number so if say i want tk 1234 and theres a td 1234 does that mean tk 1234 is open?

Yes, no block cut out on the back. they are also narrower and more contoured in appearance and tapered at the bottom.
damn so thats why they are so tight, might have to trade a skinny legged person for some new style ones then, but mine are a bit messed up and cant find anywhere that sells just thighs bah!

old style thighs are the ones without the rectangular cut out on the bottom of the back right? or am i wrong on that too lol

trying to get my armor done for a local st patty's parade
to do list-
belt-sewing up a canvas one
boots-paint boots
shim the thighs (right thigh is to tight) and calfs (wont close with boots on)
heres what i looks like when not being worked on or worn

i only paid $100 bucks for the armor from a buddys dad (sat for 10yrs) so its not a huge deal, the armor looks good for a fx recast then (old style thighs) and i still wanna get a MRce

got these at savers for $12, wash and wore them today and are nice and comfy to walk in, hopefully they work but if they dont they're still cool boots
they have a zipper on the inner leg side but theres a small flap above it so you kinda cant see it, i know they should have the elastic thing but the shin part covers it on my armo----------
got the paint/dye just wanna know if these are acceptable since i cant really justify spending $80 on caboots right now

so i got my armor back in oct and still havent built the bucket, and at my local garrison someone said that its not a fx since the chin is part of the helmet and is smaller then an fx

heres a pic from last week
yesterday morning i-
cut both sets of biceps
did one thigh but it needs work, its hard to walk in it keeps hitting the back of my knee
cut the bottom of the chest a bit (do i leave a lip at the bottom?)
finished both shoulder bells
my gf made me a simple neckseal, the ribs aren't that puffy kinda just lines
did one calf
i need to smooth alot of the edges on everything except the bells
heres my bed, i wanted to see how everything looked

yah i really like the m42's, the 91 318is are nice since they have the airbags and no m10 while still being a e30, i was getting in the low 40's gas wise in my 318is
i miss that car so next ill get either a 91 318is, e30 IX (snow racing up here), or a e36 318is again except with some extras since mine was the cheapest version lol cloth e36
i just got my new dremel, riveter, velcro, clamps, and needle files so ill have some pics of the work i did this morning tonight
with less then a week till halloween i dont think ill get it in time so the fx one should do fine, its either that or the rubies one i have...... my friend took a pic of it on me and no, its tiny lol

yeah i thought i wouldn't need it, seems like a straight forward build, might need some instructions for the helmet though

thanks, ive been walking around with the arm on to see how it affects my moment and its not that bad, might need some foam inside the arms though they keep falling down
thats my first e30, i had 2 e36s (325i/318is) but i got the bug and ended up buying a 89' 325i, but 3 months in i blew the engine bah. e34s are wicked safe, my friend just rolled one (4 days after he got it from the guy he sold it to) and he only got a black eye and bruises, not his fault the back end just swung out and he over corrected

yup thats right i only paid 100 smackers for my fx kit
at least thats what i think it isits 10yr old $100 armor lol
so this is how it looked when i got it, you can see the thighs already put together. not the best job
it did come with some extra goodies though
a com-link w/new paint now (thats that tan glue stick looking thing)
a left handed holster
a spare set of arched shoulder straps
a extra thermal detonator panel
a extra belt panel thing
and new vinyl decals for the bucket
no aerators and the screw covers for the ears though, and the foil tape for the td is wrinkly
no manual too so im just winging it
so this winter im gonna be busy with my 2 projects
bmw e30 engine swap
and my tk armor
god it sucks being 19, too much time

ok after some cleaning and working on it they cleaned up nicely and look bone white except the thighs might need some more attention
i trimmed and did a test fit on the lower arm and hand armor. this kit came not trimmed so its kinda hard since my dremels broken, so till my new one comes in the edges wont be perfect and no glueing till then
and i cant trim the main body bits yet since the plastic is thick as hell and nothing ive tried has worked on it
oh yeah and looking though the box i found

my names ricky, and im a bmw enthusiast from rhode island
my fx suit sat in my friends dads basement since im guessing 11/98 since it says that under the hand armor, i was over at his house and his dad knows i like star wars so he shows me the box and says he sell it to me for 100 bucks so of course i know they sell for 600+ normally (he paid $800 back then) and ive wanted one since i was 8 (19 now) so i get it, also his wifes been bugging him about selling it
he roughly cut the thighs and put them together a long time ago so the glue turned yellow and theres a small crack in the thighs seem
and the parts on the top of the box have a yellowish tint to them so i need to re-paint all of them and bondo the small crack on the thigh seem
not gonna build the bucket yet since its missing the rank screw cover things, gonna use my modded rubies helmet for holloween with the not fully completely built armor, and i still need to get the boots and make a neck seal. im gonna use a a turtle neck... neck for halloween (URI). i know the helmets 10% to small buts its comfy
planning on joining the 501st after im done

so back in april i bring my stock (not anymore) rubies bucket to a bmw meet because my friend wanted some shots with it on his car
next thing i know josh (another guy) grabs it puts it on and is running around with it on, he then decides he wants to dance
more of his antics from that day
i have more shots from that day w/ the helmet, some are just strange <_<

i have a extra set of shoulder strap armor never used and a extra thermal detonator faceplate, i need a set a ear caps for a FX helmet, the little caps with the stripes. belt armor piece, and a knee power pack
