well, the kit has been completed and i have been approved and cleared. just awaiting my tk number from the main legion. I have been cleared by the ireland garrison.

now the fun begins!

The first part of the kit has been completed, and I will be heading down to the workshop soon to start fitment and building the rest. My build partner has done a lot of the preliminary work while I was out of the country.

I thought i would pop in to introduce myself quickly and say hello. my name is Kevin, and I live in wexford, ireland, about 2 hours south of dublin. i have been a star wars fan since i saw the original film at age 7 in 1977. I love to collect star wars stuff and i also give star wars talks at a sci fi and fantasy convention here in ireland.

i am a former prop person for film and television, working in the industry both in ireland and my home country of the USA for well over 20 years.

i have just recently ordered a tk kit which will be arriving in the next few weeks and i will be embarking on my journey to get approval for full membership in the ireland garrison of the 501st here.

I have done some crewing with them already in preparation for obtaining full member status.

I look forward to learning a lot of great stuff from this site and forum!
